PRAYERS AND SPELLS ARE WORKING

Hi Everyone!

Again I want to thank each and everyone of you for the ongoing prayers, spells, energy of healing light, candles burning, and rituals preformed for my brother Vince. It is working. I have never in my life seen a will to live as in my brother, Vince. So much has gone on I don't even know where I left off. Recap. April he was in hospital for 20 days with an unknown infection that killed his donor kidney. From there excruciating pain that no one could figure out. In and out of hospital with no relief. Back on dialysis. The dialysis crew sent Vince home with his driver while having a stroke. Vince speed dialed me here in OR. I then got a hold of a police officer friend of ours in Sacramento to get the ambulance to Vince. No one should have to listen to their brother having a stroke on the phone. One of my nephews, Chris got in his car in WA state picked me up in Eugene, OR. and then my mom in Cave Jct OR. and off to CA. again. Vince was in bad shape. A second nephew, Stevie came to help and my daughter flew in from Texas. Last week my other brother Steve came in as well. We truly thought we were there for a funeral. On Saturday the doctors finally preformed surgery on Vince to remove the donor kidney. We are hoping this will relieve the pain. Vince is still in hospital and relearning to speak. Nik, Vince's son is with my daughter in Texas until Vince can come home.
I just spoke to Vince on the phone and even though it is difficult for him to form words he is determined to get home and back to his life. So I plead and beg of you to please keep my brother in your good thoughts, prayers, wishes, spells, rituals, and any other form of goodness for healing and send it to my brother Vince.
Through all of this he finds laughter and joking. Here is Vince. I have photos of him in hospital but I want you to see him like this.

GOOD MORNING

Hello Everyone!
I did sleep like a rock and had a difficult time getting up this morning. However, I have coffee in hand and a list of mega things to do. Thanks for the happy things left in comments on my last post. Love them. While I was away the mail brought me some very nice things. Yessss beads!
I will try to photograph them and get them posted today. One package is from the very excellent bead artist I know as Juls. Here is a sneak peak of her work. http://julsbeads.blogspot.com/ I also received my stash from ArtBeads.com. I can't wait to get started on my summer project for them. Now while I was in Sacramento, my daughter flew in for a week to help us out. One day while Vince was with my Nephew, mom, April, and I spotted a health food store and ohhhh geeee U Bead It is right next store. Yes, I have been there many times before. LOL Couldn't stay long but I did get some colors I didn't have. For me there is nothing like beads to make my heart sing a happy song.
Everyone have a great day full of love and laughter

I AM HOME

Hi Everyone!

I am home, beyond tired, but home. I flew in yesterday and slept 19 hours. I think I can sleep another 19 with no problems. LOL!
I want to thank each and everyone of you for the prayers, energy of light, good wishes, and all the love sent to me and my family. Vince is still alive, although I don't know how or why. He is having surgery tomorrow. My mom, who is completely spent from all of this, and my other brother Steve are still in CA. They will leave Sunday. I had to leave early due to that stupid lupus. After recovery from surgery Vince will be sent to a rehab home for up to 100 days. It is out of our hands and so now I have to heal myself.
I can't speak much more on it only because it brings on the stress and drains my health. So I am only speaking of good and happy things. Sharing only good and a happy thoughts. Now let's get that started make a comment on a happy thing happening in your life.
OH one more thing before I close. I sure did get use to that sunny warm CA. weather.
Hugs and love to all of you.

VINCE

Update for my brother Vince.
I was again amazed at the professional attitude of yesterday's hospital staff. Late last night I received a call from the admissions doctor where Vince is. We had a long talk and there were some good things along with the bad. The good things is that Vince's donor pancreas looks good and at this time the stroke did not effect Vince's body. However, Vince can not speak and has a memory deficit. An MRI today will tell more. Last night when the doctor asked Vince who to contact, Vince showed him my name and number in his cell phone. At least he remembers me.
I am asking continuing prayers, healing energy, and love sent for Vince. Thanks dear friends.

Update for my brother Vince. After dealing with the most amazing young man at the ER at Sutter Memorial hospital, I was told that Vince is in critical condition. They were running more tests and I have to wait a few hours to find out more. Right now I have to phone my nephew to tell him about his dad. I can't stop crying. Thanks again for all of you.

Hi Everyone!
The last few hours have been horrible. My brother Vince had dialysis this morning. I call him around 10:oo am each day. He didn't answer. I figured he was sleeping. About 15 minutes later Vince phoned. He was having a stroke. I got him to hang up and phoned the 911 operator here in OR. What a f%^&** joke. I then phoned a friend in Sacramento who's husband is a sheriff. Thanks the Universe for them. I then phoned Vince back and listened to him stroking on the phone. I just talked to him and told him I love him. The phone went dead. My friend the sheriff phoned to tell me the ambulance was there. I phoned the hospital and got a wonderful guy named David who has become my good friend. I don't know why it took so long to drive 11 miles from Vince's house to the hospital and I was thinking the worse. David took my number and has been in touch with me all morning. Vince finally made it to hospital. I am waiting to call to see how he is. I am so beside myself with grief. I am having lupus episodes and need to lay down. However, I can't until I know how my brother is. Please continue to pray for him.
Thank you to all of my dear friends for your help and support.

TO INSPIRE AND TEACH

Hi Everyone!
I have always been a teacher or instructor. It is just in my blood. I was teaching hand crafts and art in my twenties and taught my first beading class in CA. in 1986. It was a traditional porcupine quill earring class. After a few more classes one of my brother's said to me, "You are crazy for teaching people your beading." My reply was then and stands today, "This thing called beading is not mine to keep. These stitches were here long before me and if I keep them to myself what joy is that?" So I have never been threatened by others using my patterns or techniques. In fact, I love knowing that over the years I have helped people start businesses, learned to create, find their inner souls, and hopefully pass on what I have taught them. This is how I feel when I write an article, teach a class, or make up a new kit. With this in mind I sent out my newest Layered Flatwork kit to two of my good and long time friends. Triz, who knows flatwork, and Belinda who doesn't (or didn't) and asked them for an honest review. EEEkkkk that can be so scary. Triz received hers first and I was so happy with her comments. I knew she would have it whipped out in a few hours. However, I wanted to know if everything was clear to her. My happiness is that she gave the finished piece to her mom. How nice is that?
As you know I have been a bit stressed these days haa haa haaa. A bit!!! So this morning when I read what Belinda had to say about my kit the day was brighter and I can not be more happy knowing she has discovered an new skill. Please read what Belinda has to say.
If you know me at all you know that I am a humble person and not one to brag or be haughty. I am just so blessed with these two wonderful artists working my kits and knowing I have accomplished what I set out to do. Inspire and teach.
All of the kits have hand made dicro glass by Lori Cook another very good friend of mine from Spokane, WA.
Check out he kits at Beadwright Etsy store

BIRTHDAY GIFT

Hi Everyone!
I hope all of you had a great weekend and a happy Mother's day. It was quiet here.
Before I left for CA. I received an amazing birthday gift. It was such a surprise because I had no idea it was coming my way. I feel so blessed with all of you as my cyber friends. But it is more than that isn't it? We are connected by time and space. We are connected by hearts of love and tenderness. We are connected as people, sharing things we might not do with others sitting at our sides. We are connected by art, a universal language. Yes, I am blessed to have all of you in my life. So back to my birthday gift. I have known this lovely lady for many years now. She started out as one of my customers turned to friend. Her name is Debbie and she is the owner of CraftyMoose
Her bead art has always impressed and delighted me. She is one person who can manipulate wire and beads to create the most stunning beaded gardens. So when I opened this surprise package I was completely overwhelmed with my gift. I was also so taken with the vase Debbie created. Gourds n beads how can you go wrong with that. LOL
Thank you Debbie for your generous heart and talent. I love my gourd garden.

I AM HOME

Hi Everyone!
I am home. It is a bitter sweet home coming. I feel like I need to be with my brother, however, I also have obligations at home. So for Vince, he is not well. It just seems to be an impossible situation. The last 30 days Vince has been in hospital 27. Finally, after loosing his donor kidney and a host of other problems the transplant team of doctors that care ( ha ha I use the word "care" loosely) decided that the infection is the BK virus that attacked and killed off Vince's kidney. He is so sick. Back on dialysis three times a week. My worried over the whole situation has me so that I can not go into the real detail of the failing medical we have here in the US. Not to mention the state of CA. being broke that there is no help for Vince or others that truly need it. I will be back to see Vince in June unless he needs me before that. I can not thank all of you enough for your healing energy, prayers, and good thoughts and wishes. Please continue to keep Vince in your hearts.
xoxo

QUICK NOTE

Hi Everyone!

Just a quick note to say hello and to tell you I am still in Sacramento. Vince is still hanging on. He is back in the hospital as of yesterday. I am now a great city driver and can manipulate the freeways as I did when I was young and lived here. Wowowowow on the traffic!!!! LOL
I am hoping to leave for home on Wednesday, leaving mom here to take care of things. Difficult to do, she won't drive in the city. Heyyy she is 80 years old. I can't blame her. I will arrange for rides to and from what ever before I leave and make sure the house is stocked with food.
Please remember us.
Have a great week everyone!
