Friday Face OFF Welcom Back

Welcome Back To Friday Face OFF (FFO)

This is the place to show off your faces or your face. Post any type of face from any medium. You can create it, or find it in nature, or even that face in the design of you
woodwork in your house.
Human, animal, alien, or monster.
ANY KIND OF FACE!

Well, as most of you know this has been a hella year and especially this month. Quick recap. Mr. M. slipped on the stairs and shattered his ankle on the 24th of Sept. He was in surgery almost 5 hours. In a non weight bearing boot until yesterday. He is still in the boot but can put weight down. He will have to have more surgeries on his ankle. On Oct. 10 Mr. M. had his kidney and uterer removed due to cancer. His bladder was cut to remove the rest of the uterer. It was not laparoscopic as we were fist told. Mr. M. is cut from chest to hip bone and two other cuts on his side. The first 4 days in hospital were horrible. Then after giving Mr. M. the correct meds he snapped out of being so sick. A 3 to 5 day stint in hospital ended up being 10 days. I was so fortunate to be able to stay at the Heartfelt house. I did come home one day to get a medical bed and other supplies for the house. Story for next week. LOL
Mr. M. is healing well and today he will take his first real shower. I will tell you it has been beyond difficult. Men are a different kind of patient. Believe me if men were giving birth to babies there would be no question about abortion or birth control. LOL Sorry guys but it is true.
The first for days sitting in Mr. M's room I was able to draw. This is the first one I did.
I really love her teeth.

A few simple but creepy AI

And this is my baby great granddaughter. Her curls fill the bowl.
Now for some features I got from a few weeks ago.

That's it for today. Now it's time to show me your face.
Thank you for joining in, I can't wait to see what you have to show.

Nicole

I am sure Mr M will be glad to finally get a shower. (And yes, I know men are terrible patients.)
I LOVE the photo of your great granddaughter.

Nicole, I'm so glad Mr.M is getting good progress in the hospital, and you could have time for yourself 🥰 Your drawing is fabulous. Thank you for showing mine.
Happy Halloween everyone 😍

Such tough times. But a bit of happy new, that is good!
Ingo could get babies, I guess - he was and still often is in bad pain and never really complains. I could not get babies, I think we changed roles.
I wish you two all the best and YES to a real shower!
Freddie Mercury came to my mind seeing your drawing. He said at first he didn´t have the money and later not the time to have them corrected...
Your great granddaughter is very cute!
Have a great Friday and... to healing.

Relieved to hear Mr M is okay and home after his surgeries and long hospital stay. Wrong meds -- WTF? Your face is compelling and yes, those teeth! I also love your GG's big bowful o' curls!

It sounds like healing is coming along. Boy what a lot to go through. Just the ankle would be enough for most people. And that no laparoscopic surgery sounds like it was a whole lot of cutting. But glad your husband is up and on the improve. Thanks for sharing my photo too. Much appreciated. You take care also. hugs-Erika

Dear Nicole, there's no question that humanity would have died out long ago if men had to give birth to children 😉. But Mr. M. has been through a lot recently, so it's okay to be a bit complicated, I think... You've been through a lot too, so of course you can gossip about it a bit too 😉. In any case, I'm very happy that he's healing well!
And I'm also happy that you had the opportunity to draw. The child's mouth and teeth look very natural. I also like your scary AI pictures.
But I like your curly baby great granddaughter the most!
I'm sending the three posts from the past few weeks to your linkup today - I think they're the ones I haven't linked to yet, right?
Hugs and all the best from Austria, Traude

You guys cannot win in the health line but I am grateful that the surgery is over and he is doing well post-op. Healing takes such a long while. Hang in there as best as you can. We're all pulling for you both.

Poor Mr. M! In a way it was good that he was in the hospital so long and that you stayed at a wonderful place that helped you. I'm working backwards, so I know that things are easing a little. Please take care of you!
