Hi and Welcome to Friday Face OFF!
Real quick on my thyroid. I had the CT scan. Between that and the ultrasound my thyroid is not doing well. Not only do I have lesions, there is a heterogeneous mass.
This has to do with autoimmune and makes it difficult to differentiate between benign and malignant lesions seen on the ultrasound. So, I now have a referral for the ENT. Ear, Nose and Throat Dr. They should call me today for an appt.
Thank the gods there are ENTs available.
Now for FFO.
I have been sleeping a lot and so was happy that I could get a drawing done. There is actually quite a bit of shading on her face. My camera just didn't pick it up.
It is interesting that I made her neck so skinny. Hmmm could be the thyroid thing. LOL.

Fingers and toes crossed all goes well. It´s so scary to be "sick".
I take one pill for my floppy thyroid and never took that serious. Now I know why they want to check every year.

I'm glad you have a doctor's appointment to see more about your thyroid. It sounds scary! Your face drawing is great, but your family photos are even better. What a lovely bunch of faces. I can tell that the shading is there -not because I can "see it" but because there is dimension that wouldn't be there without the shading.
I am so sorry that there is such difficulty with your thyroid. I have a friend who had her thyroid removed (I never asked why) and lives a very normal and productive life. She does have to take medication daily and have regular tests of her thyroid level.

More health investigations to go ahead. Sorry to hear that you are going through an unimaginable stress. The birthday celebration is very warm though.
These are terrific faces, both drawn and photographed! And I really hope that the ENT can provide a good answer for you -- lots of answers. I know how terribly frustrated this must be and probably a little scary too. Keep on fighting ahead. And all good wishes.

It's great that you had the medical tests you needed, Nicole! I hope you get an appointment with the ENT quickly. I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Your drawing is lovely ~ Such a serene face! But best of all are the loving photos you shared of your family. Evalina is beautiful. Lovely faces both drawing and photos. I thought the neck on the drawing looked thin because some of the clothes were hiding it.
