Human, animal, alien, or monster.

The horned skull face is really starting to take shape and I am really lovin' it.
I applied two layers of liquid latex. Some of the photos are one layer. You will know the second layer by the yellowish color.

This is the right horn from the front

This is the left horn from the back.

Next step will be to add color a bit of brain and splotches of hair.

I found these two on Pinterest. I tried to find the artist but couldn't. I think they are brilliant.
and this.
I would love these for my garden.
This for all of the rainy days on the Oregon coast.

Friday Face OFF 1/24/25

Welcome To Friday Face OFF (FFO)

OMGosh what a week. Too much going on and not enough time to do what I want. LOL  I was only able to get in the art room for about an hour. In that time I made a mixture of plaster and mod podge. It makes a great covering for so many uses. I covered the skull I am working and was able to get the drips I wanted.
I'm loving her more and more.

As in cooking I don't measure. Put some plaster in a bowl and add the Mod Podge until it's the consistency of mayo.

Then I covered the skull, making dents, and drips.

I loved how this turned out.

 The horns too.

My next step is latex. Hopefully I can do that this weekend.

I have loved skulls and bones since I was a kid. All my life it has been difficult to find skull things. Unless I want to Mexico. LOL
Now it seems, that for the last several years, skulls are everywhere. I could use these.
I also found this cake on FB. I think it's beautiful

I did make a few AI pieces

I can't wait to see what all of you have to share this week.
Now for last week, some of the artist.
