Friday Face OFF 1/31/25 Latex

Welcome To Friday Face OFF (FFO)

This is the place to show off your faces or your face. Post any type of face from any medium. You can create it, or find it in nature, or even that face in the design of the
woodwork in your house.
Human, animal, alien, or monster.
ANY KIND OF FACE!

The horned skull face is really starting to take shape and I am really lovin' it.
I applied two layers of liquid latex. Some of the photos are one layer. You will know the second layer by the yellowish color.
get close up of photos by clicking in them

This is the right horn from the front

This is the left horn from the back.

Next step will be to add color a bit of brain and splotches of hair.

I found these two on Pinterest. I tried to find the artist but couldn't. I think they are brilliant.
and this.
I would love these for my garden.
This for all of the rainy days on the Oregon coast.
and this is just too cute.

Now to see some features

Don't forget to link up with Gillena
That's it for today, now it's time to show me your face.
Nicole

I like your creature's drippy horns! And the Mad Hatter and Jiminy Cricket (?) with the big buggy eyes! They remind me of a tarot deck I have where all the characters have big eyes like that.

The skull looks very gooey now. It will be interesting to see the brain that you want to add.

And, awww, those Pinterest-dudes. Those last two sure will have a cheap night, "drinking" ;-)
Have a great Friday!

Hello Nicole,
Your horned skull is stunning already... let's see ready 💀

Alles Liebe, Traude

Mount Sunday is a low-set “mountain” (I used quotations here, because that term is certainly a stretch) isolated in the Canterbury Plains of New Zealand’s South Island. It sits in the middle of a flat, barren river plain, and is surrounded by snow-capped mountain ranges in the far distance.

Awestruck by Mount Sunday’s rugged beauty, film director Peter Jackson chose the rocky outcrop as the filming location for Edoras, capital city of Rohan, in his film adaption of The Lord of the Rings.

Haha, dear Nicole, I love the teeth and the crooked grin of your horned skull! The skull plant pots would really be something for you - and yes, the two drinking skeletons are awesome 😂😁
You've already seen the faces I have for you - thank you for your lovely comment! I especially thought of you and your linkup when I saw the "Prophet's Head", Ernst Fuchs's early work, and the translucent face in the painting of the burning bush.
Hugs & all the best, Traude

These figures seem to me a bit scary. But I am curious how they will look like when they are fully done. Have a good time and all the best

I am amazed at the work in your skull. Your patience in doing it also amazes me. Oddly, I can work on a quilt or a weaving for a long time; but when doing other art I want to get finished "now!"
Thanks for featuring me.

Your skull is coming along great Nicole. I can't wait to see it finished. And there are so many talented people out there, isn't there? I love how you celebrate them. Have a super end to January and start to the new month tomorrow. hugs-Erika

Have I mentioned that I am watching re-runs of BONES and think of your art every time they discover more hidden murder bones.

The thing that made me really laugh was the two skeletons drinking--LOL! Yes, you should have the wall planters and umbrella. Your skeleton head is getting slimy looking. It is fascinating how you create your creature art! :)

OMG, your scull is freaky, Nicole! I mean that as a compliment. Have a restful weekend! Hugs to you!
