Friday Face OFF 1/24/25

Welcome To Friday Face OFF (FFO)

This is the place to show off your faces or your face. Post any type of face from any medium. You can create it, or find it in nature, or even that face in the design of the
woodwork in your house.
Human, animal, alien, or monster.
ANY KIND OF FACE!

OMGosh what a week. Too much going on and not enough time to do what I want. LOL  I was only able to get in the art room for about an hour. In that time I made a mixture of plaster and mod podge. It makes a great covering for so many uses. I covered the skull I am working and was able to get the drips I wanted.
I'm loving her more and more.

As in cooking I don't measure. Put some plaster in a bowl and add the Mod Podge until it's the consistency of mayo.

Then I covered the skull, making dents, and drips.

I loved how this turned out.

 The horns too.

My next step is latex. Hopefully I can do that this weekend.

I have loved skulls and bones since I was a kid. All my life it has been difficult to find skull things. Unless I want to Mexico. LOL
Now it seems, that for the last several years, skulls are everywhere. I could use these.
I also found this cake on FB. I think it's beautiful

I did make a few AI pieces

I can't wait to see what all of you have to share this week.
Now for last week, some of the artist.

Don't forget to link up with Gillena
That's it for to today, now it's time to show me your face.

Your now modge-podged skull has a beautiful Elvis curl to her lip!

The skull is getting more interesting and quite fascinating, Nicole. At least you got an hour to make art. I haven't done any art this year so far beside photography.
Thank you for the feature.
I hope you will have more time to do art in the coming week!

Oh, it´s a female, how cool is that! I look at Mayo in a different way now- and I look forward on her next step, too!
Cool pens, but the cake is much too beautiful to be eaten. To a great Friday.

I was happy to see MLK, Jr - a great man. At least some wisdom has come out of Washington.

Your skull is divinely creepy (which I hope was the effect you were going for!) I love seeing the process photos. Only one human face in today's entry -- but lots of clock faces!

Your face is coming along beautifully Nicole. I also like how the upper lip has a curl. I can't wait to see how it is coming next week. I hope you get some time to do what you want this weekend. hugs-Erika

Hi, Nicole! I hear you! It's been a busy week for me too! The female face you're creating is wonderfully creepy ~ lol! Your AI pieces are always fascinating. And that cake! You've made me hungry. All the best to you!

So the creepy face is a she--lol! She is coming along quite well as she creeps me out--ROFL! I know that is just what you are going for. I do totally think that cake is beautiful, though. Of course, I do love red and ravens and crows so it had me right there! ;)

No wonder we get along so well. I've been obsessed (skulls and teeth, in particular) for as long as I can remember. Loving your work in progress!
