The last few days we have been getting rain. The garden so loves it.
He stared like this.
oh and then I creased the paper when using the eraser. Part of art, I guess.
Here he is coming together but bad photo.
and now we have this. 
Since I took this photo I have made a few changes, I lighten his lips, and made his plugs a bit larger. LOL

You all know that I have Halloween going year round at my house. However, I was at the store yesterday and they already have Halloween items out. WTH? It's August!

Fantastic work on your face Nicole
I am aware that my head shape (without hair) is a bit different. I have a bit of a ridge in the middle running front to back....I can feel it. There are also a few dents. And I have furrows that can show up below the occipital bone. (like the wrinkles on a forehead.....yes, I have those too. )
All that to say that your guy drawing is very interesting.
You have been very busy on Night Cafe. I went to look but I didn't get through all of your new creations.
Your guy is wonderful! I like how he developed. To me he somehow looks younger in the last image than in all the images before that.

I think your face drawings are super realistic and gorgeous. I'm still a little scared of drawing faces, but even more scared of hands. Hands are hard. I hope you keep getting more drawing time and I hope the rain makes it way across country because we are getting a little dry, after so much early season rain. Happy weekend. hugs-Erika

Thanks for the feature! Unfortunately, I didn't have a FFO up this past Friday, but I will be sharing portraits in this week's TAD spot. I will do my best to link up on Friday. I've been busy trying to get loose ends tied up before my eye surgery, including a advance posting which includes artwork for FFO. :)
