Way too much going on

 Hi Everyone!

It's Wednesday and this week has flown by. I've been busy with so much I don't know where to start. I did take yesterday off. Didn't do a thing but watched TV with Mr. M.

I think I mentioned that I was NOT going to have a garden this year. I just wanted everything outside to sit for a summer. However, with the cost of food, I NEED to have a garden this years. Part of that is obtaining new pallets. YAY!!! I found a place to get them for free that is literally a block from my house. They helped Mr. M. and I load them into the truck and told me I can come anytime to get more. Here is the first truck load. I think there are 6, we didn't bring any tie downs for some stupid reason. LOL  I'm happy with this first load.

As you know I've been canning, trying to get our food stores up.
You saw the Louisiana Red Beans. If not you can check it here

 Seasoned 15 bean soup.

Spicy potatoes

 3 pints of Jalapenos.

Lightly seasoned ground beef.

Poblano, onion spicy taco ground beef.

I can never have enough canned chicken.

 I made more Ghee too.

And we always need a snack. Blueberry mini muffins.

Each muffin has one big blueberry inside.

I also got a butane gas, one burner stove. It was highly recommended so I got one. OMG!!!! I love this! I really dislike cooking on electric. Breakfast and one pan meals this is ideal. It is so easy to use and comes with 4 cans of butane.

I got it at Amazon for a very reasonable price.

That's it for now. Hope to see you this week for Friday Face Off.

Aren't you great! That's very independent minded, and thinking ahead. You remind me I have a couple of those little camping stoves that use solid fuel. I only need fuel and I'm good to go. Thanks!

After some neglect on my own garden front and back, I spent big on lawn rescue recently. I just want that sheer green to make it sparkle

A garden will certainly help with these food prices. And even though it's a lot of time, I know you love it and you'll have lots of yummy veggies to eat. :)

I bought similar one-eye stove for use when the power is out (and that is more frequently than I like.) Mine will use butane or propane(I think) but I mainly use small propane canisters as they are more readily available here.

I think you are right! You should grow whatever you can this coming year because I do expect prices are going to rise and rise. I envy you your canning skills!! *hugs*

Hello, Nicole!
Food prices have been rising steadily in EU too, especially fruit and veggies. That's why I would like to have a garden. If I owned it, I would grow tomatoes and peppers. I would also have chickens raised on the ground. Today in the early morning I spent € 6 ($ 6.15) for six eggs and one liter of oat milk 🤨 Unfortunately, there is also a lot of speculation on energy costs (natural gas). As you know Russian gas is delivered anymore in EU, and this allows the opportunity to rise energy rices.

Congrats on your blueberry muffins.

Take care!

Once in a while my wife makes mini muffins, especially when donating items to an event. They are basically just a mouthful. Good luck with your garden.

Wow -- you must have an enormous pantry. Well done! Yes, a garden may be in order for all of us this year. I'm intrigued by your butane stove. I have gas (which I love) but eventually I will move and when I do, we're talking electric. I think I would love this -- I like to control the heat.
