Saturday Post

 Hi Everyone!

As you all know there isn't much going on in my life that is interesting. Caring for Mr. M. and trying to keep my own health issues at bay. However, I made a pizza the other night that made any other pizza fade in comparison. LOL
I may have mentioned in the past that I have been using a new crust recipe. It is so easy, no kneading and just 30 minutes to rest.

Mr. M. and I like thick crust and this is the best.

Seriously the best.
You will need;
3 C of APF
1 C warm water not over 104°F
2 1/4 t of yeast
1/4 t sugar
1/2 t salt
3 T oil
Pour water into bowl with then sprinkle the yeast and sugar in. Let set for 5 minutes or until the yeast gets foamy. Add the rest of the ingredients. Don't work the dough too much you just want to get everything mixed together. If the dough is too dry add warm water a T at a time. Place dough into a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a kitchen towel and set in a warm place for 30 minutes. Now it may raise a bit but don't worry if it doesn't. Put a bit of bench flour down and with your fingers press out the dough to the size you like. Add your topping and bake at 550° F for about 10 minutes. Every oven is different so take a spatular and check the bottom to make sure it is baked.
You will love this recipe.

  7. Your pizza looks good, in fact, delicious, but I am a THIN crust person.

  8. I used to use a recipe that was extremely similar to that, though I couldn’t resist kneading the dough a bit. It was very puffy.
    Len now likes to make a thinner-crust sourdough pizza, so I’m definitely not going to argue! Your toppings look great.
