Hi Everyone!
I'm joining the T-Party over at
T for me stands for 1 month since I had my foot surgery and I am no where near able to walk. The wound is healing but taking it's time. The pain is still OMG pain but it has shifted or is different. Can hardly wait for this to be over with. I have a healing candle burning for any of you going through medical issues. May we all feel better soon.
Mr. M. has been busy making me dinners and this luscious cup of cocoa with marshmallows. It was so darn good.
The first was a spaghetti dinner. Now I did have the sauce already made an in the freezer. The he did the rest.
I told him what to put in the ground beef. Now, normally I would never buy Pillsbury biscuits in a can. But, making the homemade dough would be too much.
I have to say these are more than delicious. Seriously, look how well filled these are.
The filling has some home canned potatoes, pinto beans, onions, ground beef, and ground chorizo. Seasoning, salt, pepper and garlic.

Well that is it for now. Nothing exciting here. I miss being outside.
Have a great Tuesday everyone!
Nicole
So happy your hubby is taking such good care of you.
ReplyDeleteI agree--healing for everybody--especially for you, lady! :)
OUCH! So terrible that you are still experiencing so much pain. I do hope. you soon get better.
ReplyDeleteYour husband seems to be talented at food prep, and very committed to helping you.
best, mae at maefood.blogspot.com
Lovely food and drink! Sending prayers for healing.
ReplyDeleteI hope all that good cooking speeds up the healing process!
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure I'd end up starving fairly quickly if my husband was in charge of the cooking. He can heat stuff up but no actual assembly of a recipe. :)
ReplyDeleteHope your foot heals quickly. I know how frustrating it can be to heal after a surgery.
Your husband is definitely a keeper. Even though your foot isn't cooperating with the healing, he sounds like a fabulous caretaker. Your meals look delicious. Sorry to hear your foot is only slowly healing. I hope you have a super T day. hugs-Erika
ReplyDelete...Nicole, I'm sorry to hear that you recovery is coming along so slowly. Let's hope that things speed up!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're being well fed during this miserable time. That helps some.
ReplyDeleteHe sounds like a wonderful man, Nicole. Jenna of ThePaintedApron.com is the master at using refrigerator rolls in different things. I never would have thought of most of those kinds of things (like those delicious looking meat pies) but she inspires me with easy cooking!
ReplyDeleteThe food look better than my diet in the last few days
ReplyDeleteI think the candle reaches out all the way to Germany, thank you. Long walk to the company, nearly 8 hours standing and then the walk back... my numb feet hurt.
ReplyDeleteTo our feet resuming a proper job soon!
Oh, you made me so hungry! ;-)
Great your Hubby takes over and so well, too!
Have a happy T-Day and to healing... fast(er).
Look great!
ReplyDeleteSorry your foot is still sore, sending you lots of hugs and prayers and good juju. You are so lucky to hae such a wonderful husband who helps and cooks, great! Happy T Day hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteFeel better soon! In the meantime, it looks like your hubby is taking great care of you. Those meals look fancy and delicious!
ReplyDeleteHappy Tea Day,
Kate
Wow-what a wonderful hubby you have! The meals have all looked so good! Praying for you and thank you so much for the prayers back...
ReplyDeleteGlad you're being looked after, and sorry that your foot is still causing you pain. I hope it heals soon. Those pies look good even to a non-meat eater lol. Happy T Day! Elle xx
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear about your foot surgery. It sounds tough, but it's good to know the wound is healing, even if it's taking its time. The pain seems challenging, but it's nice that someone's taking care of you. The spaghetti dinner sounds delicious, especially with the homemade sauce. And the avocado on the side is a tasty touch! Wishing you a speedy recovery.
ReplyDeleteYour hubby is a keeper. I hope you're soon on your feet. Happy T Day
ReplyDeleteWhat a great husband you have! Those filled buns look delicious! I have never heard of bread dough in a can, but it could be handy, especially in situations like this.
ReplyDeleteI hope your foot heals soon and that you can go outside soon, although depending on where you live on the globe, it might not be very nice out!
Happy T-Day,
Lisca
I'm sorry it's taking so long to heal but glad you're seeing progress. I'm not familiar with the idea of a healing candle... I'm off to google it :)
ReplyDeleteI missed T Tuesday completely. No excuses.
So sorry you are in such pain. I can actually relate.
ReplyDeleteYour meals look great. Mr. M is really taking good care of you. Your meals all look great and your hot chocolate is perfect for T this week, dear Nicole.
I'm sorry the pain is still so terrible. I hope that this passes soon. I know that can't come fast enough for you but surely any day now you'll begin to get some relief
ReplyDeleteI can go for a cup of hot chocolate right now. It's been really chilly the past three mornings. We're expected to get a bit of a warm up, so that'll be nice. I'm tired of these really cold temperatures. It's not even winter! I know, I'm such the complainer. :)
With cooler weather with us, I'm in the mood for chilli. I think I will make a big pot not today but soon. We're taking a week of vacation starting this evening. We have lots of activities planned. I won't be in Blogosphere. I appreciated your sweet comment on my artwork from yesterday of the girl with a pearl earring. If I can remember, I may link it on FFO. ;)
Have a good day, you're in my thoughts and prayers!
Lovely to read how well Mr.M. is looking after you.
ReplyDeleteSending lots more healing wishes to you.
All the best Jan
