link up with MR. Linky and start leaving comments. You will not be disappointed.
As most of you know I am very busy and even monster art is set on the back burner right now. In going through boxes for my yard sale and came across some old photos I haven't seen in a long while.
The first one is of my Great Grandma on my mom's side. Her name was Sadi.
Grand Sadi, Grandpa Tom, Phyllis and the baby is my Nan. |
My Nan at age 3. |
The one standing is my Nan with her sister Phyllis. |
My Nan. Not sure what year. |
This is my mom, the one with the white shoes, and her friend. |
I don't have many photos of my grandmother on my dad's side but here she is with me and my brother. |
For the featured artist we have,
OMG! I swear this was picked by the number generator.
I'm also linking up with Gillena
Have a great weekend

I wasn't sure I would be around to link up tonight, but I finished in the garage sooner than I hoped.
When I look at old photos, I admire the clothes and the hair styles. You truly have a gold mine there, Nicole. And the photos are in excellent condition, too. Hope you have a wonderful t weekend. I'll be sweating in the obscene heat while I deal with trash (grin).
Ohhhh, so nice!
I have 4 pictures from my family, all Dad´s side, the oldest maybe 1936, showing his Father on ice-skates. He passed when Dad was 14.
What load of pictures do we give to fellow family members. To technology and hopefully no wars! Happy Friday!
This is beautiful collection of throwback face photos.
Nicole, what the fun nostalgic photos! Babies are so sweet with their accessories;
You are a winner with your hat... babies look like little adults :))
Happy weekend to you xx
wonderful memories.
I have my mothers album and my granmothers album. They go back several generations. The oldest photo is from, I think, 1905. I keep them safe for my daughter and grandchildren to inherit.
:)
I have old family photos today, too! Hugs, Valerie
With today’s ubiquitous digital photography just imagine how many pictures future generations will have of their ancestors!
...we went through old family photos this week. Nicole thanks for hosting the party, be well.
Old photos are such a treasure. In these days of only digital photos, those who come after us will miss out on this joy.
Old family photos are always fun, especially when you discover them. And Louise's old photo worked perfectly with your post too. All I can say is boy those hats we used to be put into were not the prettiest, were they? Did they even keep the sun off our faces? Smile. Happy weekend Nicole. hugs-Erika
Those are precious photos and memories to have.
Wonderful, dear Nicole!
I also love old photos and like to browse through them. They tell true stories of times long past.
When my mother died in December 2020, I showed some old family photos on my blog - maybe someday you will have the time and desire to look at the pictures. Then you can find them here: https://rostrose.blogspot.com/2020/12/farewell-hildekind.html

Hi, Nicole! How lovely to see your beautiful family photos! I have a passion for old family photos, and yours are delightful! Thanks for the shout out! May your weekend be calm and your week more so! xox
Thank you for an always interesting visit. Aloha
Lovely old photos.
Love the old pictures!!
I wonder if people in years to come will be scrolling through digital photos?
Have a wonderful weekend!
The old photographs are lovely to have, see them again and again for a moment of family love.
You come from a line of lovely women. I do love those vintage photos. Such a link to the past and a personal heritage. These are treasures.
Fotos interessantes, minha querida amiga Nicole, bom final de semana.
I was assuming all through the pictures that your Nan meant your Mom, but then you called the girl in the white shoes your Mom, so who is your Nan? Anyway, the pictures are lovely and the girls in your family are all beautiful and your Grandpa was a handsome young man. The hair styles on your Mom and her friend seem more current than the others ... more like my time of life. It is fun to go through old pictures. I have a box of them that I once sat down and showed to my granddaughter. She was surprised by the styles and enjoyed seeing people in her family that she would never meet. Quite the departure from your usual post and very enjoyable :)
