Friday Face OFF 6/2/23

Welcome to Friday Face OFF
and happy June. This year is going by quickly and for me that is a good thing. This year so far has not been the best. :} For an update on my thyroid situation. My Spine doctor went over all of the images and explained them to me. If it wasn't for him I would be guessing. In the meantime my PC set me up with a biopsy. I have that done on June 16. I can hardly wait. It has taken 6 months to get to this point. I'm not feeling well. Lupus is out of control due to the thyroid, so I'm not doing too much. I still have to get ready for my show in Sept. though. I have been working on some skulls.
I still need to finish off the teeth.

This doesn't look good now but wait until I am finished. LOL

And these are my latest AI (Artificail Intelegence) art. Uhhh yeah bugs. How would you like to see one of these in your garden? LOL

My thoughts are with you dear Nicole and I hope they support you as you face the adversity that seems to be stubbornly against you. Xo

The skull looks so traumatising! AI arts look so effortless. Great images.

Oh, Nicole, I´m so sorry it takes so long, health-wise!
I struggled with my infected bone over half a year, bought pain-killers whilst others went to the cinema, pub etc...
And Ingo... it took even longer (pancreas, nicely inherited).
I wish you all the best, and quickly!

Oh, Pennywise. He was on purpose. "Sadly" I join again with horror... by non-talent ;-)

Ordered eyes yesterday btw, thank you for the idea!
To a nice day/weekend.

Hi Nicole, hope you soon get some results and then some treatment and start to feel better. Your art is delightfully disgusting, really hope I never see one of your really scary creatures here! Happy Friday, hugs, Valerie!

I am quite amazed that you have either the physical or mental stamina to keep on creating given the dreadful medical merry-go-round you have been on. I hope there is good news to come, but out-of-control Lupus must be very difficult to deal with. All the best - David

I hope that the biopsy provides some answers and hopefully a course of treatment that will make you feel better quickly.
The almost finished skull looks like a movie prop that would have scared me as a child. (that is a compliment.)

No I wouldn't like to see those bugs in my garden.

Seeing your process is fascinating and I'm so glad you finally have a date for the biopsy. It's taken a long while. But you'll hopefully have the answers you need to progress. Hang in.

I am so sorry for what you are going through. Lupus is a relentless disease and just about anything can trigger it. It seems a shame that they make you wait so long to get a biopsy, a difficult wait to say the least. But your creativity doesn't take a break (if you are anything like me, your art is your therapy :). I love the skulls and can't wait to see what will come of the unfinished character. You give so much to us Nicole, ... what can we do for you?

I'm very glad things are moving along on the health department. I hope the biopsy offers a clear way towards a solutions. I'm sorry your lupus is driving you nuts, I completely understand. My body has been a mess for the last few months. Let's hope we both are doing better by the fall. Halloween won't do itself. 😜

Speaking of Halloween, the phrase "I still need to finish off the teeth" sounds like a fantastic Halloween prompt.
