Hi Everyone!
Well it has been a week. Everyday this week I had to drive out of town to see some sort of medical person. The one I was most happy with was a second Ultrasound on my thyroid. Without going into too much detail the one take here in my town was horrible both in scan and report. I drove to Eugene to Oregon Imaging. What a difference. O.I. has better equipment and staff. The Tech explained things to me and was so gentle. The one I had here the guy actually hurt me. The report came in and OMG! My thyroid is in a bit of trouble. Because my PC has no idea how to read a scan, I do have an appt with my spine doctor who will go over everything with me. However there are 3 lesions that rate at a Ti-Rad number of 5. That means it is moderately suspicious. I will have to find a doctor to do a needle biopsy. Also in one month the lesions in suspect have grown. Today, I had a dentist appt. Geesss it seems like that is all I do.
I did manage to get a new can face done and a fast sketch.

Nicole, oh. I should get a check, too. Ordered new meds just like that.
Yes, to GOOD doctors! I had real dumb ones twice. And yes. I need to make an appointment with my dentist still...
Hope all goes well with both of us... Everybody!!!
Love that face, my fav colors, too!
Wow to the warm up.
Have a nice day!
Oh Nicole I hope sonething can be done about those lesions soon. Nice art. Good one from Debra.
Hi Nicole, glad you found a better doctor, and hope that you will soon be feeling better and get some good treatment! Love your art, as always. Take care of yourself, hugs, Valerie
Wonderful can and great drawings.
Feel well and enjoy the upcoming weekend xx
I do not know how you do in the time of doubt regarding your health. I wish you well in this difficult time. The faces you draw look quite quirky and cool.
Just the process of hustling from doctor to another must be exhausting apart from the stress of the results. We are all rooting for you.
...good medical care should not be taken for granted. I that things improve for you. Take care and be well.
It might seem like a lot of doctor's appointments (and who likes that?) but hopefully they can get them all checked out and you can be on your way to recovery. I'm loving your new can too. The tongue sticking out is hilarious. Have a good weekend Nicole, and I'll keep my fingers crossed the latest round of appointments is full of encouragement and positivity. Hugs-Erika
Hey Nicole, thanks for featuring me and my pelican this week, I appreciate it!
I am glad that you are finally getting some good medical attention. It is always good to know what is going on. I hope the needle biopsy goes well and that it isn't too painful.
I think the new face on the can is a direct reaction to all of the not-so-good medical appointments you have endured to get to this point.
I love the faces lined up with your brushes in the cans.
Dear Nicole, I have also experienced that going to a good or bad clinic makes quite a difference. Unfortunately, you often don't know beforehand, if it is good or bad...
I keep my fingers crossed for you!
Your green face reminds me a bit of a combination of these three emojis: 🤢😝🤮 - for me that would mean it's a comment on the various medical problems... (?) Just a suspicion... 😉
Your warm-up exercise is far better than what I or many others can accomplish in several hours...
Of the faces that can be seen in my blog today, I would like to recommend a cute sloth face...
All the best 🌱🌿🌱 Traude

Wow-your drawing is beautiful! I'm praying for you Nicole...
Prayers for your health
The face is a fun face. Keep up the good artwork to ease your worries.
your male face is so good, I am always trying to figure out what makes someone look male or female
You are really going through a lot, Nicole! I'm so sorry! I understand too well how life-sucking it is to go from one doctor to another day after day after day. Kudos to you for managing to get any art done. Fun faces! Having gone through serious thyroid issues myself and recovered, I believe that you can get past this and feel like yourself again. My mother lived almost 50 years with no thyroid or parathyroid after having them removed. I'm just sharing that to give you some encouragement. Hugs, love, and encouragement to you!
I hope your frustration at inadequate medical care will soon be dissolved -- by GOOD care! Whatever is wrong, I hope you soon get a competent diagnosis and treatment.

Your new can face describes my mood today!
I am thrilled that you had a better US experience and that the techs were good. The results are a little scary but it sounds as though you are in good hands, and that means a great deal. We have dealt with thyroid cancer in our family. Let me tell you that in both cases the post surgical history has been excellent for many, many years. I hope it won't come to surgery and certainly not to cancer, but IF it gets gnarly, know that in general prognosis and healing is very successful. You hang in there and don't be scared. You are a strong, smart woman and you are on the right path. Please keep taking good care of you as you go through these times.
I hope you have better results at this new place.
That face made me laugh. That's how I feel sometimes. (Too often--lol!)
Great sketch! :)
Hi Nicole,
thank you for the comment. I'm sorry that you cannot comment on my blog. Google has informed me that your blog is not safe in many ways. I have however let me visit your blog. I cant help in this problem, because reason is not in my blog.
Have a nice week ahead xx
Hi Nicole, doctors prodding and probing is no fun, however you have to bear with it, Wishing you good health, Hope you feel better
Thanks for dropping by and linking to AFFF
Much💖love
I trust you'll get better news from the biopsy. Finding good medical care can be hard. I'm lucky to live where I do, at least in that respect.
OMG, I can't imagine what you are going through. Your new can face looks like you must be feeling :) You need to find a reliable Primary care physician who could send you to the right people in the first place and get things done without 15 appointments. It is bad enough to have to deal with medical issues. Having to run in every direction just to get answers shouldn't happen. I hope you get your answers as timing is important and delays only add to the risks. I am so sorry you have to go through this ... I hope it all turns out for the better in the long run. Not forgetting the handsome gentleman in your drawing ... I look forward to seeing the finished product. My wish for you is to get good news from the biopsy and then time to relax and enjoy over the summer :) I will be thinking of you ...

I am SO sorry I couldn't join you for FFO this week. I am so far behind and my hand is even worse because I ended up forgetting and using it. I love that sketch. It is wonderful.
I am SO sorry to read about your current throat condition. I sincerely hope you get a good doctor to perform the biopsy. Take care of YOU, dear Nicole.
Nice art. Take care
