T Stands for ......

 Hi Everyone!

I'm going to try to get back to blogging as much as I can. Today is the T-Party over at Bleubeard and Elizabeth's
I'm still getting ready for my show in Sept. no matter what is going on with my health. I have 2 friends that will be joining me this year and I am all up for it to be loads of fun. Of course, and making money. LOL
The weather has been cold and windy. We are not even getting up to 60°F during the day. Keeping my gardens covered in poly is helping, except for my sweet potatoes. I don't think they will make it. I do have some flowers to show you though.
These are some hardy plants.

This came up from last year.

This is a new one for me.

 I love Marigolds.

This is new too, but as I write this I can't remember the names.

 Orange Marigold

I love these Alyssums. I have planted them in several places.

I have always wanted these creeping ground flowers. A lot of people grow them here.

 These just make me happy.

Can this be any more yellow?

No flowers yet but these are Sunflowers.

Now for my drink. Since my throat has been on fire from my thyroid, all I want is ice cold drinks and popsicles. So here is my favorite smoothie. 3 kinds of berries with sparkling water. It is so good.

Have a great day!

Nicole

  7. I would gladly take your weather and you can have my 80s F. You have some beautiful flowers. I recognized the marigolds, but that was it. They are all beautiful and be great as they mature this year.

Goodness that smoothie looks delicious. Fresh berries and everything. Thanks for sharing these amazing flowers and your smoothie with us for T this Tuesday, dear Nicole. It's great to see you for T, too.

  10. Seeing your smoothie reminds me that I used to make them regularly for breakfast and haven't done so in a couple of years. Must get back into the habit. Yours looks wonderful and I can well imagine that the coolness feels great on a raging throat. All the best - David

  13. We have had a few days that were downright hot already. This morning is pleasantly cool, but with a threat of more rain.
The flowers are lovely. I particularly like the one from last year and the pink one that you didn’t remember the name.

  18. Your smoothie looks delicious! It seems chilly where you are...but your flowers are lovely. I recently lost sweet potatoes but that was because it was too hot.
Looking forward to hearing more about your art show as it gets closer.

  20. I'm so sorry you are still struggling with health issues. I have had two good days in a row-crossing fingers it will continue. I will keep praying for you-I am concerned. It can be very very hard to have continual health problems. I'm really glad you are still creating because that helps a lot. I think the flower you forgot the name of is called 'cosmos.' Thinking of you...

  24. Nicole, your smoothie looks delicious! And so do the flowers in your garden. The "nameless" flower is cosmos, both the pink one and the white one above it. How fun that you will have another show in September, and it's nice to do it together with friends. However, you probably have a lot to do before that I assume. Have a good week!

  25. Cosmos are a favorite flower for their height and color variety. The white cosmos I don't see often.

A 3 berry smoothie sounds and looks good.

  26. Welcome back. I know what you mean on getting ready for a show early. Mine is in November but we are thinking of traveling in October which makes me realize there really isn't much time and I should get started. I can't believe I'm writing there isn't much time till November.
