Hi Everyone!
Welcome to FFO the place to show off any kind of face you want. Simply make a post, link back to me, link with Mr. Linky, and leave comments. Can't wait to see what all of you have to show.
Once I got the clay all done I wet painted pastel on a light yellow. |
Then a coat of a burnt orange.
|
This coat is a dark brown mixed with gray. |
Next a bit of highlights and shading. Ohhh and some color on the lips. |
I love his profile |
and the lighting shows his true colors. |
Well I just went a little crazy with this guy. |
Oh, I keep forgetting, I am a little crazy. LOL |
I do like his skin though. |

What a perfect brush holder!
I've never worked with air dry clay, always polymer, which I realize you have to bake. I have so much poly clay, it would be unwise not to use it before I went to a different type, like air dry clay.
Your cup is impressive, Nicole. I think you really went wild on the other clay face. Thanks for hosting this fun event, dear. BTW, I hope my "face" today is acceptable.
I like them all. But I especially like the one that chews up all his screams in his mouth (this is my interpretation).
Fabulous faces again! You have been busy! Have a great day, hugs, Valerie
Stunning clay art, Nicole!

If not, have a wonderful weekend and enjoy sunny, green nature xx

Happy Easter
I love him!! One really wants to talk to him, very well done! Looking forward to the rest of his making. Have a great day, all of you, crazy guy, even though you maybe have not much to say ;-)
Love these funny looking masks you made.
yep, you are a bit crazy. :) Especially with the yelloweyed one. He probably has some problems with eating. ;) ;)
Wishing you a very Happy Easter. If you celebrate it? I don´t really. I got tired of always having to be the host of all family celebrations. Just a lot of work and I got tired. Now I do what I want. :) ART!
...Nicole, the first face is my favorite it reminds me of Lanier Meaders. Thanks for hosting and have a wonderful Easter.
Such a great pen holder! Everyone is going to want one!
You outdid yourself with this one Nicole. What a cool pencil holder! I like both of your faces this week too. Have a great weekend. hugs-Erika
I really like the first one. I will be awaiting the step by step "how to make this" photos. I need to be using more of my DAS clay.
Wonderful clay pieces Nicole!
Your kind of crazy is a good thing ... I love your faces and the paint job is amazing. What are you using for the eyes? They look like glass or plastic. I can't wait to see your "how to" next week :) Hope all is well with you these days ...

Always a fun visit!
I'm loving the green background. It's easier for me to read your text. And that is the perfect brush holder! Love its face! Happy weekend!
I look forward to seeing how you made the fabulous face.
Fun faces.
Coffee is on and stay safe.
Hi Nicole, DAS air dry is a fabulous medium to work with, it always gives true and hardy results. I really love your face paint brush holder what a happy design it is. Just popping over to wish you a Happy Easter, getting online and creativity is extremely limited for me as care duties are more demanding, been lovely to see your work today.
Have a wonderful day Happy Easter Hugs Tracey xx

You are so talented Sis! ♥♥
I thought you had crafted the cutest owl holding something, and then I realized it was something else! Call me a little crazy ~ lol! How you layer the color on the paint brush face is really interesting. That's what gives your creation such depth! Enjoy the weekend, Nicole! xox
