Well, today I'm 71yrs old. Rain sent me this beautiful card. Thank you Sis.
Shades of purple must be my colors right now because my face for today is
that as well.

This is the third in my can faces for my paint brushed. Several of you have mentioned how many brushed I have. Uhhh yes, I am a paint brush hoarder. I have paint brushed that belonged to my Nan and my mom. Still in perfect working condition. My Nan always said buy good paint brushes, take care of them and they will last you a lifetime. Well 3 lifetimes.
I've been having some health issues beyond lupus so I haven't been able to do much art. Here is an older piece I drew. I love the intensity in her face.

I have your birthday in my calendar and yet, I completely forgot to mention that today is your birthday. Life has really gotten in the way of everything else now that I am taking care of two households and four cats.
I agree with your Nan. Not just brushes, but ANY tool. Buy the best you can afford and they will last a lifetime. Although I don't collect paint brushes, I pride myself on the quality tools I own.
I remember this face and it is still intense and awesome. I hope you are feeling better really soon, dear Nicole.
