Friday Face OFF 3/17/22

Welcome to Friday Face OFF!
This is the place to show off your face art. It can be any type of face in any medium. I do mean any type of face, so use your imagination.
Tomorrow is Mr. Ms. birthday. He is the type of guy that doesn't want anything, or any hoop la about it. However, I always make it a nice day for him and he is happy that I did.

Today for FFO I have finished a few Witches Bells for my show. The show feels like a long way off but if I don't get items made now time will sneak up on me. LOL
These are the smaller size of Witches Bells
The grapevine is 3"
Witches Bells don't normally have faces in the centers but I wanted mine to be very unique.

This also gives me a fine way to use the faces I have made. I think I explained Witches Bells in a previous post but have had some quetions about them. In olden times bells were (and still are) believed to keep away negative energy. Witches Bells were hung on the door knob of a home. If you think about it, the modern door bell may have some correlation.

Now for this weeks featured artist.

I am also linking up with Gillena

Thanks for stopping by
and I hope you join in.

  5. Same here - since age 14 I do not celebrate my Birthday, I always hated it!
My friends always had birthdays in summer and we could run and play in the garden. January... ppppft. Plus I don´t like to be the POI.
But: Happy, happy Birthday wishes tomorrow!!!
And I love your Witches Bells! Bet they will be a great hit!
To a happy Friday (and Birthday and ... all!)

  13. The witches bells came out great. And I like how you connected them to doorbells. I have bells on my bedroom door and a door chime on another door and it is also so pleasing to hear the noise. Have a great FRiday Nicole. hugs-Erika

  14. Oh, how handy that we have a modern doorbell - I didn't know about its protective function 😄! Jokes aside, dearest Nicole, I like your Witches Bells and I think it's a good idea that you put your faces in it. That looks good and special. Among other things, I'll give you a few little frog faces for your linkup 😊🐸
All the best (and happy B-day to your hubby!) - Traude 😘

  19. With so many ways to deter witches, you would think everyone would have been safe, but I don’t think it was true.

  23. A beautiful collection of the wonderful arts you have created.

P.S. I am currently unable to even copy paste any links off the blogger platform. Hence I am not even commenting as much as I would have liked. No personal laptops with me while travelling abroad. Happy St Patrick's Day

  27. So, a belated Happy Birthday to Mr. M. and I agree he deserves a nice day to celebrate with you. You are a good person, Nicole. Now, witches bells ... they are delightful, but I had never heard of them. Is there a story behind them that would add to their appeal? When is your show and how do those of us who don't live in the northwest get to see your art and perhaps purchase something? Every time I come over here, I think to myself, I would like to have that ... hmmm and here I am doing it again. You should have a shop or something, right? Anyway, I love your art, if that isn't obvious and look forward to seeing what you will have each week. Enough said ... stay well, Nicole ...
