T Stands for End of Garden Season

 Hi Everyone!

Today is T-Tuesday. The party that Bleubeard and Elizabeth holds each week. The way to get in is to make a post and feature a drink.
My post today is the closing of my garden.
Boo hoo hoo.
We have already started
to get rain so it's time.

Containers washed and sanitized for next  year. Oh they will come inside before the weather hits.

Containers with soil that will be refurbished for next year.

The big garden tied down and ready for winter. Mr. M. fixed it so the water will run off the tarp. I personally think it should have a bigger hump in the middle. Mr. M laughed at me. Once it was done he put the hose to it andddd... well he was right. The water rolled right off. Darn... :)

I'm still hoping goodness from these potatoes. They are really strong and healthy.

Isn't this cool? It the roots from one of my bean plants.

 It's perfectly dry

All I see is the most amazing spirit doll.

Speaking of spirit dolls. I have one left in this series. She is 15" including embellishment and 9" across. If any one is interested in her
please email me.

Now for my drink. I am getting use to the instant coffee and even have a cup in the evenings.
Be sure to stop by Elizabeth's.

I don't think we would ever get used to instant coffee here. But then I don't like coffee. Glad you are getting used to it. very interesting artwork. I like the purple and green together. Happy T Day.

It is sad to close up the garden, isn't it? I need to go and clean up mine. And those roots are really cool. Could you use them to make another spirit doll. Your other doll is amazing. Happy T day Nicole. Hugs-Erika

That bundle of twigs does look promising for a spirit doll … I look forward to the pictures of her.

I could not drink instant coffee, but then I'm not the biggest coffee fan anyway.

Congrats on such strong and healthy potatoes, Nicole! ... Never seen in early Autumn.
There's a symbol of messianic judaism on your beautiful and colourfull doll. Isn't it? Nice artwork :-)

I also like instant coffee, but I have never had it in the evening. Just visited Elizabeth's website, where I have seen a great idea about pumpkin roll. Perfect in Autumn. I'll find out its recipe.

Enjoy the rest of the week, Nicole :-)

The roots of your bean plants look fantastic and I can see a spirit doll as well. So - will you use it and create? I'm glad that I never have to completely close down the garden, there is always something going on even in the winter, but it certainly is the time to clean out some plants and trim and cut back. I like that kind of work as I see most of the "bones" of the garden and can plan some new parts. I plant in the fall, so this is a busy time. Happy T day, Nicole.

You are very organised with your garden, making me feel very guilty/lazy.

I remember using instant coffee to make a flavored coffee but can't remember the flavor... Cinnamon, maybe? Orange? Who knows...

It looks like y'all are set for the winter.

Happy T Tuesday

Your potato plants are looking healthy. I still haven't pulled mine yet and I am hoping for a good crop as well. I will have to clean up my garden soon as well but I am still getting some tomatoes and peppers.
Love your doll. The twigs will add great texture to a doll.
Happy Tea Day,
Kate

I'm still harvesting herbs and summer is still hanging on here. So sad when you have to close your garden, but the potatoes look good. So do the roots that I am sure you will soon turn into a spirit doll. I also like your green and lavender one, too.

I'm glad you like that instant coffee. I have to have the real thing, because I am hooked on caffeine, my drug of choice. thanks for sharing your garden, your spirit doll, and your coffee with is for T this Tuesday, dear Nicole.

I love that you have mastered that huge garden project. Wow -- impressed and impressive. I felt like I'd accomplished something just cutting back the black-eyed Susans and so much more to do! Love the dolls, too. Happy t day.
