The eyes are really great, and I certainly love the Lion, Henry says hi and to a great Friday!
ReplyDeleteOff to family now.
Amazing art, Nicole - especially the Gourd creatures :)
ReplyDeleteYour drowned portraits are always good.
Happy FFO everyone!
All faces are good of course. :) But my favorites are the lion and the wolf :)
ReplyDeleteHope everything is fine.
hugs Monica
You do an amazing job with these faces, Nicole, really capturing the expression well. I will resist the temptation to link up this week because my current post is a book review about trees and forests, with nary a face in sight. Enjoy the weekend coming up. David
ReplyDeleteFun faces! I like the 3-D sculptures best.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the weekend! … mae at maefood.blogspot.com
...your gourd faces remind of Lanier Meaders' face jugs. Thanks for hosting the party, Nicole.
ReplyDeleteThe pencil drawing of the man is very nice, but I am most impressed by the gourd creatures. I have worked on gourds in the past. I found them nearly impossible to cut through.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful faces and love the gourds, too! Thanks for sharing! Happy Friday, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteHe looks like his significant other is doing something he's not quite sure about. "Like where is woman going to now?" I'm familiar with that look from my husband. Smile. So many great faces this week Nicole. I particularly like those animal faces. Have a great start to your weekend. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteI love all your faces for today. It would be nice to meet your sketch fellow in person. He's a handsome dude.
ReplyDeleteWow Nicole, thank you for choosing me as your as your featured Artist ... It is humbling and gratifying at the same time. As for your brooding males, you have really mastered the technique, especially the eyes ... your eyes, even in your animals, speak to me ... say something about the mood and intelligence of the subject. Well, Done, again Nicole :) Hope you are feeling better these days ...

Your faces are inspiring Nicole! You have so mcc talent! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteHandsome guy and creative faces from the past
ReplyDeleteGreat job on his eyes and frowning brows!
ReplyDeleteI decided not to join this week because when I went to visit everyone, I couldn't find the linky. It isn't fair to join, then not be able t visit others and leave comments. Looks like it's there today, though. Happy FFO, Nicole.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on such a great inquiring expression of your face! I also like the three graphite drawings.
ReplyDeleteRoar! Nice 🦁 lion
ReplyDeleteWonderful drawing
ReplyDeleteThis guy is amazing, Nicole. I love his brooding expression and wonder what is going through his mind. Your gourd creatues and faces are wonderful as well. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love Andrea's work.
ReplyDeleteThat’s a great drawing. I wonder what caught his eye that has him pondering so.
ReplyDeleteYour eyes are excellent! And I really love how you do your animals, Nicole. They have soul.
ReplyDeleteNicole

A very distinctive face, dear Nicole! While I would have thought the guy wasn't looking brooding but looking stern or reproachful, I definitely like how you captured the expression. I also like your works from the past - especially (of course) the cheetah <3 <3 <3 I love them!)
ReplyDeleteAll the best, Traude

Nicole,
ReplyDeleteYou do such an amazing job on faces. I know I've told you this before but it's really the truth! :)
Boa tarde minha querida amiga Nicole. Seus desenhos são maravilhosos. O que você me deu está guardado até hoje. Foi meu presente de aniversário no ano passado.
ReplyDeleteI can see a symbol of messianic Judaism on your colourful doll. Isn't it? Nice artwork, Nicole!
ReplyDeleteI also like instant coffee, but I sometimes have it in the early afternoon! Congrats on your storng and healthy potatoes, Nicole!
Have a nice week, Nicole :-)
... the previous comment just sent is referred to the post you wrote on 26 September (I can't delete it). Sorry for the mistake!
