Hi Everyone!
Quick note. Again thank you for all the well wishes. I am now on antibiotics for a kidney infection. It is one of the things that lupus really likes to attack. I am also going in for a lung CT scan. The pain has subsided quite a bit and I am very thankful for that.
Since being in bed most of the last week. Mr. M. brought up some drawing supplies for me to at least sketch. Then he made a clay tray for me to work some clay pieces.
He is such a good guy.
This is a piece I am working on right now.
I finished this one the day before
I was bed ridden.
She is a Native American girl.
And here are the clay pieces I made. They still need sanding and painting. Then they will be added to the top of a totem.

Now it's your turn. Show me a face. Any medium, any kind of face, human, alien, animal, or creatures.

Sorry you are still not better, but yay for your man!!!
Wonderful faces, so life-like!
Get well soon, too.
I am glad that you are feeling somewhat better, Nicole. Lupus is a terrible thing to deal with. The face of the lovely First Nations girl is very evocative.
...I'm glad that you have a good guy!
You are so multi-talented, Nicole, even under the difficult conditions of the past week! I especially like your Native American girl portrait. Her facial features are perfect and her eyes speak of determined pride. Well done!
Glad you are doing better, love your faces this week I really love your clay pieces this week
I so admire your drawing skills. Most of my drawings tend to look a bit "child-like." I do much better with paint or fabric.
Sorry to hear about the kidney infection Nicole. I hope you feel better and your lung scan goes well. That was great your husband waited on you with a tray like he did. You have some super faces this week. I'll be waiting to see what you do with those little clay faces. hugs-Erika
I'm so sorry you aren't feeling good. I hope this is short and that you will be able to do the things you love to do without pain. Your faces are always done so well. I like the clay ones too, and your rings in the previous post.
Congrats to Linda. I luv her cards. Hope you feel better soon Nicole. Take your med and get some rest.
Much💚love
I hope that the antibiotics help and I'm sorry you're still not well. Mr. M is so sweet, I'm glad he's there for you. Your faces are beautiful, the clay faces are stunning. I'm not sure I could do something like that if I were bedridden. It's good to do something for your soul. Wishing for you that you get better soon. Hugs.
Lovely work Nicole -Christine cmlk79.blogspot.com
Being ill hasn't diminished your artistic skills -- these are terrific! I hope you feel better soon.
Kidney infections are no fun :( but I trust the antibiotic will do its work. It's so sweet that you're being cared for in such a thoughtful way :)
I have linked a past piece from a time I was active. I will try to share some other past ones on Friday Face Off. Hope you are better my friend.
I love the lips on your first piece! And yes, your Native American lady's eyes are gorgeous! Sis, I'm so sorry you have a kidney infection, that's awful. Glad Mr. M. is bringing you art supplies to keep you happy while you're recuperating! ♥♥
What else could go wrong, Nicole? I truly hope you are doing better soon. Please get better.
Your drawings are amazing. I love the Native American woman. She could be on the cover of a book about Native Americans. And your clay faces are superb. I have to use a mold to make mine. I could NEVER do what you do so easily, even when you are sick.
I contribute a photo with three faces, two people and a dog. I sure hope you feel better soon!
❤️🌿
Oh, I'm very sorry that you have health problems! I hope you feel better soon!
Your drawings look wonderful - and you are right, the Native American girl has beautiful soulful eyes. I also like the two masks very much.
Happy weekend!

I'm sorry the Lupus is kicking in so much, Nicole. I hope it eases soon and all goes well with the scans. I put in two posts -- one with cute faces and one with my ugly one!
Fabulous drawing and clay faces. Hope you are feeling better soon.
She looks great, I love the detail on the lips. Sorry you are poorly, I have another friend with lupus also. Happy Friday Elle/EOTC xx
Feel better. Regine.

glad to know you don´t waste your bad days. I think both your clay and drawing is among your better ones. Keeps the mind away from illnes. Doesn´t it?? Take care.
Boa tarde. Desejo um excelente sábado com muita paz e saúde. Desejo sua recuperação total minha querida amig Nicole.
Healing always takes time especially with Lupus, but it is good you are progressing and especially that your pain is resolving. My heart goes out to you, Nicole ... I know it is a never ending struggle. But that said, attitude is the most potent treatment for chronic illness and you have risen above and beyond ... Wishing you all pain free days in your future. Your native American girl is superb and I agree, the eyes make the picture. I look forward to the finished products of your masks and your just started drawing. Rest and think good thoughts that will bring you to a better place.
