T stand for I need sunshine

 Greetings!

This is T Tuesday with
Bleubeard and Elizabeth. Come join in.
If you read yesterdays post you know that this last weekend we had a storm from the depths of the heavens. Weather effects my mood more than anything. I am that girl who needs sunshine. Yeah I know, why do I live in the PNW and on the Oregon coast.
However, Monday we had blue, cloudy skies and today is supposed to be better. With all of the bad weather my bush squash gave me this. The first blossom of the year.
My next door neighbors started raising pigeons. Seriously? There is pigeon shit everywhere. When I say raising pigeons, I mean they have hundreds of them.
Not sure what they are doing with them, but they are a pain in my buttocks.
This one is in my front yard.
I am organizing and getting rid of old paper work. Of course in going through folders I went through art folders too. Then I remembered these on my flash drive.
These are just a few of the faces I have drawn over the last 5 years.

Now to get into the T-Party.
We have a store here called, Grocery Outlet and they have the best beer logos.
This is Beer is made in Bend Oregon.

I hope you all have a great day today.

Hurrah for squash blossoms. And beer labels, like wine labels, are the best. I often want to try a certain beer because of the label. That is a cool label you shared. Have a great T day and week ahead Nicole. hugs-Erika

Phone the city -- surely there must be some kind of municipal bylaw against raising that many pigeons in a residential area -- wouldn't that need an agricultural or a business permit, if nothing else? COMPLAIN! Good luck!

P.S. We'll see if Blogger eats this comment too.

So not a fan of pigeons, we call them flying rats. In former GDR they were shot and you got... I´ll have to ask Ingo, either bullets or money for the dead bodies.
The cities there were "pest-free". Here.... yikes.
Love your faces!
Funny, I´ll join you soon with beer ;-)
Have a happy T-Day!

So many faces! I remember quite a few of them.
Pigeons! When I was a child many people kept pigeons, but it was banned because of an illness it caused to the breeder. I can’t find any info on it but I can tell you that’s in many countries in Europe urban pigeons are considered vermin.
I’m sorry to hear about the storm. I’m like you, I need the sun. Roll on summer!
Happy T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca

Maybe you should check your city's by-laws to see whether their pigeons can be raised legally in a residential area.

Great post , happier today except for the pigeons. The drawings would have been a great FOF post!

Oh, no! Sorry to hear about hundreds of pigeons close to your house ... I have heard that pigeon droppings can pose a potential health hazard to those who attempt to clean them.
Be careful!

I always love your faces. Are they drawings of real people or do you see them in your imagination? I have to model mine after actors and/or family members, etc.

Pigeons? Homing pigeons, maybe? Yeah, maybe check out the town/city ordinances on land use and animals. Your squash looks good. Fun graphics on the beer can. Happy T Day

I'm a weather gal! Love it.. storms , rain , wind, thunder, lightning, forget the tornados! but i love a cloudy day.. and as little sunshine as possible.. unless its winter and the sun feels good.. Hmmm... maybe i should live in the PNW.. lol Hundreds of pigeons!! No thank you! I would be so upset.. But we cannot control what our neighbors do for the most part.. Really , really sucks.. I hope the pigeons are a passing fad.. Can they sell them for food? Squabs it think they are called.. Happy happy T day Nicole!! Hugs! deb

Your garden is looking lovely and I hope the pigeons aren't causing too much problems with your seedlings, they can be such a pain! I remember your collection of faces, they look so beautiful 😁. I'd happily join you for an IPA beer - cheers and wishing you a very Happy T Day! Hugs Jo x

Glad to read your weather was nice for a little while. Glad your squash is flowering. We've had so much rain, I think my cantaloupe have died.

Pigeons are worse than Canadian geese. Goose poop is slimy and horrible, but pigeons carry as many as 110 diseases that humans can catch. Yet people feed them in the park. They also raise them to race to other places while carrying messages. I can see why you would be upset.

I'm not an IPA fan, but I love the name of the beer. Thanks for sharing your week and this beer label with us for T this Tuesday, dear Nicole.

Those are a lot of faces! You are quite the artist. I am sorry about your neighbor raising pigeons. Could that be a health issue? Happy T Day.

As much as I love pigeons, I can see your dilemma. Humans again messing with the balance of nature. I wonder if they're racing/homing pigeons? Many years ago, the husband of Mum's friend bred racing/homing pigeons. Not sure how it worked but he competed with other racing pigeon lovers. I'm sure a special permit would have been required.

Those are impressive groups of portraits!
Interesting beer logos.

I hope you enjoy the rest of your week,

I can think of lots of critters to raise. Pigeons wouldn't come to mind! But I do love those faces. Those are really terrific.

Great faces! I wonder why they have 100s of pigeons? Are they racing them, eating them? Seems like a lot. Some people here called them flying rats lol Sorry for my lateness, Happy T Day! Elle/EOTC xx
