T Stands for Effin Cold

Hi Everyone!

Today is T-day and mine stands for Effin cold.
It's 30° out right now and just about 35 miles up the road going east, (inland) it is snowing. I expected to wake up to snow in my yard this AM. It's icy and flippen cold.
I HATE being cold! LOL.
So, Hwy 126 is the only road east from Florence.
It's not a Hwy, it's a 2 lane road into Eugene, Or.
This was yesterday and this AM if is all frozen over.

Needless to say, I am so glad we don't  have to go anywhere.
I can keep myself busy at home making art and having scary movies on the TV.
As I mentioned at the top of this post, it is T-Tuesday over at Elizabeth's, be sure to stop by there to see what all of the T-Gang are doing.
For me I have made yet another spirit doll and that will be it for now. I have other types of dolls I want to make today.
Yep, that's a bird on her head. Her face is looking down.
I have one other doll made and getting ready to ship off to Florida. I need to take a photo before it goes in the mail.
Sooooo..... that is it for me. I am just going to try and stay warm today.
Here is what I wish I had to drink to get my innards warm.
Coffee with Baileys.

'Effin cold' that gave me a laugh today, think of your upcoming summer garden plans. Enjoyed your art.

Effin cold, snow, and ice is the worst combination. Glad you can stay safe inside making your gorgeous spirit dolls. Layers of clothing is how I stay warm along with copious amounts of tea. Take care and Happy T. Day 188 days until the first day of Summer!

coffee with baileys sounds perfect! that was the best thing for me when I retired-I no longer had to deal with driving in bad weather. I had a very long commute and back then when I was a phone operator you Had to be at work on time no matter what.
It is still fall like here sw Missouri-loving it
stay warm-love seeing your spirit dolls hugs

I'm with you, I hate the cold too and my heating is dodgy and currently not working and we are expecting freezing temps. I used to live in a hot climate so I don't like this at all. Your spirit dolls are very interesting, love them. I haven't had coffee with Baileys for a long time but that will do the trick to warm you up for sure! Happy International T Day! Elle/EOTC xx

I;';m not fond of the cold, but at least I can add more layers in winter and there is only so much I can take off in summer and still be decent.

I really like this latest spirit doll. It is beautiful. I think it will sell quickly.

I am not a drinker of alcohol, but I would gladly have a Bailey's and cream. I've had it before and really like it. Thanks for sharing your latest spirit doll, your high winds, and your Bailey's and cream with us for T this Tuesday, dear Nicole.

Yes to coffee with Baileys - yum! Your dolls look amazing - you are so artistic! I'd prefer to stay in Florence as well in that kind of weather. That part of the Oregon coast is so pretty. I love the dunes up there, we camped there several times, but I have to admit that even in summer it wasn't exactly warm.

Oh, my goodness! Yes, stay in, stay warm, and craft or make art! And drink a hot drink! Happy T Day!

Wow - it is cold there. Perfect excuse to create and have fun coffee (I love Bailey's and coffee on a cold day). Watching scary or Christmas movies is one of my favorite things too - even more fun is scary Christmas movies (Nightmare before Christmas is about as scary as I can handle). This year all my ornaments were lost (gremlins?) so I ordered spiders, feathers, owls, eye glasses, etc. and did a Harry Potter tree. Super fun and the Grandsons are amazed. Your spirit doll is fabulous - so well done. Hugz and happy T-day!

I think that Bailey's should be classed as comfort food!

Oh dear, that doesn't look nice at all. This is why we moved to a warm country. Snow and ice around here is very rare.
I hope you can get warm inside your house. There is nothing worse than insufficient heating (and badly insulated houses). Our little flat is so well insulated that the heat from the evening stays and in the morning we don't need to heat the house. In the evening at about 5 it gets chilly and I light the stove, which heats the whole flat.
The coffee with Baileys looks really inviting, but I have just finished my bottle of Baileys. It will be gluehwein for me in the coming evenings.
Happy T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca

It's cold also here in Italy, Nicole! Many villages in North Italy are covered with snow. On my blog I will soon post a picture, which a friend of mine has just sent from the Alps ... as he lives there.
Have a nice weekend ❄
