Movie Monday

It's Monday!
Wishing everyone a great day today.
 Movie Monday
For those of you who have HBO and have NOT seen the series
"Succession" you are missing out.
Season 3 started last night and it did not disappoint.
So this would be a good one to binge watch on.
The series centers on the Roy family, the dysfunctional owners of Waystar RoyCo, a global media and entertainment conglomerate, who are fighting for control of the company amid uncertainty about the health of the family's patriarch, Logan Roy (Brian Cox).  The gist of it sounds so boring but it is anything but. A satirical comedy-drama that takes us into the lives of the rich-power-baring people of media.
Sarah Snooks, Brian Cox, Kieran Caulkin, and Jeremy Strong to name just of few of the amazing actors in this series.
This is the trailer for Season 1
There is cussing.

Mr. M. and I watched this next movie when it came out and had to buy it up. A comedy kinda horror, happy ending movie. The People Under the Stairs is a 1991 movie that will make you want to watch it again and agian.

A young boy is trapped in a nightmarish home full in Wes Craven's 90s gem.
When young Fool (Brandon Adams) breaks into the home of his family's greedy and uncaring landlords, he discovers a disturbing scenario where incestuous adult siblings have mutilated a number of boys and kept them imprisoned under stairs in their large, creepy house. As Fool attempts to flee before the psychopaths can catch him, he meets their daughter, Alice (A.J. Langer), who has been spared any extreme discipline by her deranged parents. Can Fool and Alice escape before it's too late?
Yeahhhh you'll have to watch it to find out.
You can see this free on Peacock or on Prime.

Today Mr. M. and I are getting our Covid boosters. We had been scheduled for the 9th of this month but they ran out of vaccines. So today is the day. You all know how I feel about this. Covid will always be with us, but like other vaccines this helps get it under control.
The strongest can die of Covid
RIP
Colin Powell and all of the others who have succumbed.

If you don't think the delta variant or covid 19 can hurt you,
YOU ARE WRONG! Protect yourself and others.

Nicole,

Thanks for the viewing recommendations. We just signed up with HBOmax recently. Perhaps, we'll check it out. I hope you're not feeling too bad after your Covid booster today. I saw the news yesterday that Colin Powell died apparently from the virus. He was supposedly full vaccinated, too. Be safe and stay well, dear friend!

Colin Powell's death should teach us all a valuable lesson about being careful. Vaccine's are not fool proof. I am planning to start SUCCESSION today from the beginning.

I have a FB friend who is enjoying that series, but I haven't started it yet. The People Under the Stairs is not one I've seen, so I appreciate the recommendation.

Congrats on the Covid booster! It's a shame we missed the chance the get rid of Covid-19, but that ship has sailed. The vaccines are our best hope for dealing with it at this point. We got our booster earlier this month.
