Well here it is Friday already. YAY I actually got some art finished. Still taking from Rain's theme expressionism here is a painting I finished tonight.
It's a small canvas just 12x10" done in acrylics.
I find that I am quite taken with abstract expressionism.

It reminds me of the game Mahjong for some reason. Not that I've ever played it.

I don't know why but at first glance I thought of mahjong tiles. Oh, I see I'm not the only one--LOL! I am always intrgued by abstracts. :)

yes it looks like a pretty game board at first but the more you ponder there is meaning in everything i believe :)
abstract is also way to express yourself without setting certain boundaries and i like the form because of it's capacity for free expressions .

Bright colorful art! Oozes optimism. I'm not very good at abstract art for the sake of it. My brain always wants to 'see' things in it. Your painting (to my brain) looks like Mahjong tiles floating on the waves.
