Hi Everyone!!
Today is TAD with Rain. Her theme this week is Reflections and Mirrors. What I love about Rain's themes is that there are so many different ways to approach them. I reflect on "things" in my mind, or I see a refection in my day. Mirrors. You can spread light through them "reflection" of a mirror, I am a mirror to another person. In addition there are so many spiritual beliefs on mirrors.
The day before yesterday we had to drive to Salem. Most of you know it is a 3 hour drive one way. I decided not to bring my camera. Mr. M. was surprised, and I said, "This will be the day that something special happens." OMG! it did. First the river was like glass and the reflections were amazing. Some other things happened that I will save for a different post.
So... What to show for Rain's theme?
I guess it is old art and photos again. LOL
I am running late. I have a doctors appt. and need to get ready.
Everyone who comes by please stop in at Rain's to see all the other artists and what they have created.

...Never leave home without your camera!
Very creative leather sculpture!
Good luck at the Dr's. Lovely take on reflections Nicole, you are right so many different takes on this theme.
Faces and reflections, my kind of art! I will visit again. Years ago whenI made beaded dolls I included round mirrors on their clothing held on by beadwork. I loved the dimension it added. I see that in your leather sculptures. The sculpture with numerous faces is incredible!
Great, impressive art is yours! I'm curious what you have brought with you!
Take care, hug Elke
Luv the reflected faces. Happy Thursday

Hope the Doctors appointment went well.
Good take on Rains theme :)
All the best Jan
Very cool. Hoping the dr apt goes well. Thanks for stopping by the blog.
Your leather work is amazing Nicole. I really like those faces. hugs-Erika
Love your art - but sad the reflections are but in your brain.
There are sooooo many pictures I have only there, too. I hope they´ll stay - back then we had real film, which was expensive and we were students, money was tight and we didn´t know if the films, stored underneath our clothes in the car would take the Australian temperatures. They did. Hope my brain does, too...
Your leather art is amazing Nicole! I'm so impressed with those faces, and all your other pieces too.
Hope all went well at the docs.

Cannot describe how much I love the leather sculpture.
Oh, I know that terrible feeling of the perfect picture and no camera ... and, of course, no camera, doesn't it want to make you scream? So lucky you, you still have that perfect picture in your mind, right? I do like your molded reflections though ... very unique and perfect for Rain's prompt. I also like your wall mirrors and the couple being drawn to each other. Fun post, Nicole ... and next time, take your camera :)

Hi, Nicole! Thank you for the Covid message! I wish more people would take it seriously. As a retired teacher, I am worried sick about all the unvaccinated kids going back to school. Children need to be in school, and we must do everything we can to protect them!
Your old art and old photos are new to me, and I enjoyed them. Your leather sculpture of the faces is really cool. I don't think a good photo is ever old! Stay safe and healthy!
You got me going now! I want to know what things happened and what you saw on that trip to Salem. I hope you had your phone with you so you could still take some pictures.
Enjoy your weekend,
Hugs,
Lisca
Sorry I'm late visiting. On Friday, I was without power for over 16 hours. I am hugging my AC about now after suffering through a day of 100 F! Your reflective faces are amazing. they are so well done, too. Hope your Dr. appt. went well.
I love your leather work and always love to wee them. And it fits the promt nicely.
Your leather pieces are fascinating. I hope all went well at the doctor.
Hi Nicole!! :) I LOVE your painting....I mean, your leather pieces are beautiful, but that painting made me feel something. It felt very intense, very emotional. Love it. And yes, of course, the time you don't have your camera, you see the most amazing things to photograph, isn't that always the way lol? :)
that is one way to make special things happen ;-)
old art is good to see.
Planting and baking and grest art. You have good hands.
Happy Wednesday. Thanks for dropping by my blog today
