Greetings!
The other night Mr. M. and I watched an old movie that we have seen before, but a very long time ago. I had forgotten about it and the fact that it is a true story. The movie is Citizen X. The film is based upon the true story of Soviet serial killer Andrei Chikatilo,
who was convicted in 1992 of the murder of 52 women and children
committed between 1978 and 1990. It stars Stephen Rea, Donald
Sutherland, and Max Von Sydow.
It is playing now on HBO demand.
But I found the full movie on youtube and you can watch it here.
I hate that this is the photo shown for the movie. Because there is one very small scene that shows blood. The story is more about the relationship between the investigator and the General and how this serial killer was caught. A very well written story with a great cast.
Enjoy the movie.

...I had skipped it.
I haven't seen this one, so thanks for the suggestion. It sounds like a good one to add to my list for October.
Think I've heard of Citizen X, yeah 😏
Seems too creepy for me, tho 😜
I watched this back in 2015 from Netflix rentals. Had to go look is the only reason I know when I rented it--LOL! Gave it five stars. :)
Hubby might like this one
Eddie and I watched this recently, it really is an excellent film.
