Garden Saturday

Greetings!
I mentioned in yesterday's post that I would show my garden. Here it is so far. I worked all day out in the sunshine and wind, rejuvenating some of last years soil. It is a job for sure, but I am having fun.
When I got my greenhouse my friend Kris said, "Use every inch of space in it" I am trying.
We have had many freezing nights and so things have to be covered. I got up early this AM to go for groceries and actually had to scrape my windshield. Really???
Tonight it is suppose to be warmer but rain and wind. So everything is covered again. LOL
I really want to encourage all of you to grow some food. Even if you have a small deck or patio. You can have a garden. There is something so special and rewarding in gardening. It is the only thing I have to thank covid for.
My garden in photos. In no particular order.

 Squash already blooming.

Chocolate Mint doing very well. This stays outside.

 The greenhouse

What fascinates me, is all these seedlings

 turn into healthy big plants

 that produces food.

I have mentioned this before, my Nan, mom and sister were gardeners. I never understood their joy until now. I know all 3 of them are looking down at me and saying,
"See, we tried to tell you." and their laughter fills my heart.

gardening is very rewarding-my mother was raised a farm girl so it was passed down to me along with the prep of canning, freezing, dehydrating I have always enjoyed the process. this is the first time in a very long time we don't have land for a veggie garden. but to do hope to get some container gardening set up by next year. you have allot of space in your greenhouse-enjoy and happy weekend

How wonderful that you are actually already growing things in your greenhouse. I have just now started planting a few seeds Scott got me last weekend. I'm going to need more pots, though. I can't believe how tall some of your tomatoes are already. Good luck with your blooms. They all look SO healthy, too. And yes, wear a mask. I suspect I'll be wearing one for years to come.

I have a rack for herbs. Once we get warmer temps I´ll stack it :-)
And I hope for my strawberries to produce fruit!

My patio faces north, so growing veggies is difficult. I've tried tomatoes and radishes without much success, but I may try again with the little sliver of sun I have lol

Your set-up is perfect!
