T for stands for rain

Hi Everyone!

Good news for the coast of Oregon, well for Florence anyway. The wind, that is normally wicked all year, finally showed back up yesterday. It wasn't much only about 5mph and not for very long but it did push some of the smoke out of my area. We are supposed to get a tiny bit of rain today or tomorrow. I never thought I would say this but I hope it pours and then goes inland to help with the fires. We actually saw a very bit of blue sky yesterday. We are blessed. However, the rest of the state, CA. and WA. are in a horrifying situation. Keep all of us in your prayers no matter what your belief system.
Now for the new blogger. Uhhhgggg. It may not be too bad but they have certainly NOT found all the bugs. I am trying to stay with it but I keep going back to legacy. However, when I log out and then come back to blogger later it has reverted to this new thing. Photos are the worst.
OK that is my complaint for the day.
Yesterday I make new cabs (cabochons). Since we still can't open our windows I made some digital cabs instead of painting them. The paint I use has an odor. I think Halloween should be everyday of the year. LOL My house is filled with the magic of it.
So yesterday's cabs were for Halloween.

In reality I got 22 cabs made but couldn't get good website photos of them all. Taking a photo through domed glass without glare is difficult. It is for me anyway.
I am surprised that cabs are not used more with the type of art that so many of you create.
If you want to see more cabs come to beadwright.com

Today I am linking up with the beautiful Elizabeth and the T gang  with something I have not had in maybe 30 years. Coffee with cream and sugar. Well Splenda.
It is cold this AM and I thought that just sounded so good, and it is!
Come and see what the other's are drinking today.

Wishing all of you the best day.

Wow-those cabs are amazing. I wanted to tell you I loved the eyeball necklaces too! I usually don't go in for the spookier side of art-but I like yours! I'm praying you will be able to open your windows soon.

I am certainly keeping everyone enduring the fires and devastation in my prayers. Glad to hear things are improving in your area.
I like the new Blogger- except that I can't get my words under photos centered...still trying to figure that one out.
Your cabs are utterly fantastic!!!
It actually got to 46 degrees this AM in my area- had to grab a sweatshirt for the first time since early Spring-so hot coffee was very welcome. Happy T day!

I've seen pics on TV of the devastation in your area, 2020 will be a year nobody can forget. Love the cabs! Enjoy your coffee ☕☕☕, happy T Day, Valerie

I saw a sign the other day that said “Halloween is early this year. Put on your masks”. Like your cabs. And I hope the whole west coast gets some drenching rains. All those poor folks who have lost their homes and everything in them. It is sad. Hope you get your good rain and have a nice T day. Hugs Erika

I'm trying my best at new blogger, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to make sure line breaks stick. I'm not finding it nearly as intuitive as legacy blogger. And then there's all that scrolling to get back to older posts, which is an issue for me since I schedule everything in advance. *sigh*

I drink my coffee black, but I'll join you in a cup while I look at your Halloween cabs. Cool! I do love Halloween.

Happy T Tuesday!

Interesting art. I don't celebrate Halloween but I am sure there are all different kinds of these cabs out there.
Your coffee looks good!
Happy Tea DAy,
Kate

Those are pretty awesome Halloween cabs! I hate New Blogger too for many reasons. I hate how it inserts photos from the bottom to the top of a post, instead of vice versa. And I can't insert images by the old click-drag-and-drop method anymore either. It's SO much more time-consuming work to create a blog post with images now. And you know, my posts are typically image-heavy.

The cabochons are awesome. Halloween is my favorite holiday and I leave a few favorite decorations up all year. Happy T Day

Dumb question, ... what are cabs? I only get "taxi", LOL.
Yours are beautiful, whatever they are, though!
Yes, blogger is a pain now. For each and every single pic I have to adjust the size. HTML... pain. But it´s for free.
(Still, having worked as IT-tester I really do not understand why they changed to this version like this).

I trying hard with the new Blogger and it seems it is doing what I want it to do, but it still doesn't accept iOS, so I still have to boot up my ancient desktop, which one of these days is going to give up the ghost. So I am looking around for something else...
Your cabouchons are beautiful.
Yes, we are praying too for everyone affected by the fires and the smoke.
Happy belated T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca

yea to any reason the smoke blows out... it's back here with a vengence... flared up after 14" of mountain snow... your cabs are so imaginative. Reminds me I want to do more beading but I've got a quilting deadline approaching first. LeeAnna

Good news about the rain. I can't agree with you about Halloween though, my least favourite time of year. I love the tree and bats!

All of you on the west cost are in my daily prayers. I'm glad to hear the air has cleared a bit and hope Mother Nature will lend a helping hand with some heavy rain in the areas on fire.

Your cabs are stunning. I used to make jewelry but not cabachons.

Happy T-Day. Stay safe and well. Hugs, Eileen

Once again, I apologize for taking so long to visit. It was definitely beyond my control. I’m trying to catch up, but it’s harder than I actually imagined it would be, especially with my very slow internet.

You have created some incredible cabs. I love how they look like Halloween figures I grew up with. They are beautiful and incredible. They even go so well with your cup of coffee, too. Thanks for sharing these and your coffee with us for T this week, dear Nicole. Stay safe and out of harm's way, please.
