PPF Texture

Hi Everyone!

I have been working on some abstract texture pieces. However, I didn't have near enough molding paste. Not to fear, I just made my own. It's an easy recipe of Plaster of Paris and white glue. In fact if you can get the consistency right it works better than store bought.
So here is one of the pieces.
I am linking up with Paint Party Friday. Click on the link to see all the other artists that join in.

Have a great weekend

I'm not certain what to think of this piece, the details and textures sure makes one think.

Happy PPF.

It reminds me of one of those raised relief maps we used to have in school.

Wow, this technique is so interesting! I can’t decide if it looks organic, like something that was once alive, a prop from a movie about the undead, something from extreme ocean depths, decayed matter from a forest floor, or even ectoplasm from a plane beyond our own. Lol! No matter it’s origin, I like the colors. :)

I have several recipes for texture paste, but none that are just plaster of paris and glue. This sounds even easier than the ones I have made in the past. And the results are simply out of this world. This absolutely SCREAMS texture. The coloring helps add to the beauty, too.

Great textures. I had some drying up acrylic paints and the paint wouldn't come out of the tube so I cut the end off and have used the contents for texture, it had lots of lumps in it. It's a WIP.
