No Time

 Hi Everyone!

OMG!!! I have been extremely busy the last 2 two days. With what? I can't tell you. It seems every time I think I can visit blogs some thing comes up. I have been going to gardening school via you tube too. I promise Friday and Saturday I will catch up with all of you.
For Paint Party Friday I have this weird piece of abstract. I'm a weirdo what can I say?  LOL
Also the rain is still coming down with force. Wind? I can't even talk about it. It is like winter all over again. We do get a break tomorrow and then another week of storms. uuhhhgggg
Enough of that. I had painted this canvas black quite awhile ago. I just put it on the easel and went for it. Again no rhyme or reason. I didn't have any intentions of putting in a face but as an after thought I did. Ya know one of those wondering thoughts.
As  I look at this on line this piece feels quite disturbing. Chaos, sickness, unsettled.
What do you see?

I am hoping that all of you are well, have enough food and supplies and are keeping in touch with family and friends.

Honor and integrity in art, in life.

  1. Hey Nicole, it's good to be busy. 👍🏻 And it's fine if it's a secret! 😉

Gotta agree with you, that piece is... quite something. I do like how colorful it is, though! 🤎🧡💚💜🤍🖤💛💙

  2. I see all of the same things, plus LOTS of arms and legs! Fabulous and fun painting!

  3. Love the colours and movement in this painting.

  4. You are so good at abstracts Nicole!

  5. I really like this and interestingly it feels soothing to me. Wonderful colors and graceful lines. Happy PPF

  6. The colors are fantastic, but I do have to say it is scary for me-which is not a bad thing at all. It is very expressive-and you are really good at that.

  7. Good to be so busy I think. We've been getting lots of rain but today was a glorious sunny, 86 degrees-first time I sat in the sun to get some color this season:)
Your art piece is very interesting but is a bit dark and yes, disturbing or eerie. Happy PPF!

  8. looks like a colorful bird to me!you still have a lot of rain and storm hopefully it will get better soon!
    Greetings Elke

  9. I see in the eyes terror but with gracefully moving...ppf

  10. I like it!! It feels like the image is rising above all the chaos!! Love the face addition!!

  11. I agree it's good to be busy unless you are in catch up mode like I seem to be lately.

Rather disturbingly, this piece made me feel a bit like I felt the first time I saw Crows over the Cornfield by van Gogh. It was chilling, but if I didn't look at the face, it was a nice abstract.

  12. I had left a comment on how we're working in a similar fashion but the computer ate it... oy... and it took a while to get the computer back listening to me. Anyway, we are using self expression for sure

  13. I see a mask and and lots of emotions expressed probably in this piece ~ it is not scary to me ~ I see energy moving and searching the unknown ~ Good you did this piece of artwork ~ 'venting' ~

  14. Your fantastic abstract art is very impressive, not scary for me. Well done Nicol.
I wish you wondered weekend. Stay safe ❤️

  15. Look like some kind of feathery flight, i quite like the bold dashes of colour

Thanks for dropping by my blog

  16. the face is the eyes you mentioned last week I think it was. The rest seem to me like a struggling butterfly where the color patterns seem like motion blur.

Take care Nicole wishing you a more pleasant weather.

  17. I also see a butterfly. I think its a good omen.
