BEADS, LEATHER, PORCUPINE QUILLS AND PAINT?!

Greetings.

I decided to re post the very first Paint Party Friday that I joined in with. It was Dec. 15, 2011. It is where I met so many wonderful artist that I am still connected with today.
I have made some life long friends here, amazing people from all over the world who create with heart and passion.
Here is the post from then.

Hi Everyone!
After posting this earlier this evening Gloria commented and suggested I join in for Paint Party Friday. Sooo I did. Click on the link and check out all of the very talented artists
This has been a busy day full of accomplishments. One of the things I finished is my painting. I never have been a conventional painter, my Grandmother didn't care for that very much, but she liked that I was adventurous. So here is my painting with a molded and skived leather face on acrylic painted canvas. Seed bead edging, with African porcupine quills died orange. This is a box canvas that measures 12" squared.
Have a great evening!

Hi Nicole. Excellent piece. Stunning, I truly love it. The beads at the top of the mask give it your stamp. Wonderful!! Oh as for the lemon jam, I usually make some but with things the way they are lately, I just can't make any or I would send you some. Thx for stopping by my blog and I love your work! You should post it on Paint Party Friday when the link comes up later this evening.

Nicole, I love it!

I'm a multimedia painter too, and I'm definitely not a conventional painter. For me, the best part is the experimentation! So I love this piece and I appreciate your style. Very cool.

Hi Nicole! 👋🏻

I'm a mess, I didn't know you could re-post a post on Blogger like this... Interesting! 🙂 Btw, I really like your art in here. At first, I thought it was 100% a painting but then, after 3rd & 4th photo, I finally understood it's not, it's a unique multimedia piece of art. 🤎

Great job, girl! 👏🏻
