Hi Everyone!
It has been a quiet weekend here. Might have something to do with the freezing cold. LOL.
I am working on pieces for galleries and magazines so I can't show those. I did make up a beaded gourd and finally got Alvin painted. He looks like a bronze statue in real life.
Hope all of you had a wonderful weekend.
Gourds are cut, cleaned, shaped, sanded, painted, and then beaded. I actually sew through the gourd with beads. They are NOT glued or just set on top of the gourds. To see more of my beaded gourds you can go here. http://nicolecampanella.com/

Nicole.... you posted on a Sunday... and I saw it on the same day you posted... That's Serendipitous! I LOVE the gourd. The colors are so soft and romantic looking. I think Alvin is actually whistling at the gourd. :o)
Have a wonderful week!
