Hi Everyone!
I hope your weekend has been filled with sunshine and lots of fun. Yesterday Mike and I drove north on the coast road and then inland a bit to Tillamook, OR. Yes, that is the place where the cheese and other dairy products are made. However, we turned before the actual town to the Air Museum. There was a showing of old planes, a car show, a few bikes, and an old train on the property. It was the perfect sun shinny day for it. The best part as we were getting close to the entrance a girl handed us two tickets to get in free. Yeaaahhhh!!! The building is amazing at one time housing blimps. My favorite flying machine are the helicopters. I truly want to fly one before I pass to my next life. LOL But this little yellow plane was so cute.
If you get a chance to visit the Air Museum just outside of Tillamook do it was quite interesting.

i flew in a helicopter when i was a little girl..at the county fair! rode in it with my twin sister..i was on the outside..she kept trying to nudge me over to the very edge..i swear she would have pushed me out if she could!!!
OMG, I've been there. It was amazing to see all those blimps. We often speak about the day we went to the blimp hanger museum, ate cheese in Tillamook and stayed in a hotel right on the beach near the stacks. Oregon coast is so beautiful. Lucky you to live there where there are so many lovely sights
Looks like you had another fun day! I've flown in a helicopter which was an amazing experience. I've flown our friend's lake amphibian years ago--dual controls, of course!
What a great outing. Love all the photos, especially the train photo. I dare say though, that yellow little plane, you wouldn't catch me in one of those. For that matter no planes for me. I am so afraid of them. Thanks for sharing your fun outing, it was fun. Have a great week.

What a fun day. Great pictures. Went to Tillamook to a festival of some sort when I was in Jr. high..Decades ago--LOL..It was so much fun...
