BUSY BUSY BUSY DAY

Hi Everyone!
I can't believe it is 3:20pm (pacific time) already. I have been so busy today. It is sunny but not too warm, hey that is OK as long as there is sunshine, right? I have orders out, kits are packed, and the gourd is done. No you can't see the gourd until I get it sent off to the editor. :)

However, here are my latest kits. An in depth tutorial on how to create my Layered Flatwork.
I will be teaching this class April 24, 2010 in Newport OR. at
NYE COTTAGE 208 NW Coast Street P.O. Box 1211 Newport, OR 97365Tel: (541) 265-6262Toll Free: 1 (866) 592-5556
I will be listing some of the kits in my Beadwright etsy store or email me if you are interested in them. Kits are listed just click on a photo below.

Sample of what you will make, sample of kit/instructions and just one of the many colors of cabs to choose from.
All of my kits include everything you need with the exception of glue, scissor, and cutting blade. Instructions are complete with text, graphics and photos. Even a quick lesson on the proper use of leather. The focal point of the kit is a dichroic glass cab made by my very good friend
Once you learn this technique you will be able to create items like these.

Hi Nicole, I hope that you're feeling better today! I'm so sorry that you haven't been feeling up to pare. I know what it's like being sick, I myself have bad kidneys and have been in and out of the hospital with multiple surgeries all my life. Actually just a couple of weeks ago I had 2 more surgeries. Plus, in the next couple of weeks I have to go back and have another. being sick is no fun! Get better soon!
Anyways...I love your pieces at the bottom and your kits look awesome!
I hope that you have a wonderful rest of your day!
Hugs and happy beading...
Bobbi

Very nice Nicole. I think it's great that you teach classes on beading. My arthritic fingers couldn't handle it though. I have trouble threading a needle. :D Have a great day tomorrow. Take care.

The beaded pendants you show on your post are dynamite.

Ohh I so wish I could take part in one of your classes but a bit far for me to travel from Oz!

I am still intrigued by the flatwork and the kits look great. Is this the same as the type of work that is in Beading with Cabochons or is it a different method? Sounds interesting.

The pictures are lovely but I am confused cause they do not look like "flat" work to me, LOL. I will watch the tutorial though :)
Glad you are having a good day my friend!
hugs,
Susan

Yes yes yes everyone. My kits teach you to create the beadwork that is layered around the cabs. Just like the photos.
Once you know the way it is sooooo easy.

Great looking kits! Your finished pieces are just lovely.

So is it different to the style of work in Beading with Cabochons - which I already do. If so I'd be interesting in a kit.
