Yippeee for being better, Nicole! And for your Hubby taking care. Great artwork, both - and well, apart from those two-headed turtles, all cute, too! Have a great Friday.
ReplyDeleteThe artwork from your bed is really quite amazing.

I get such a kick out of your "fake birds," as you call them. They always look so mischievous! I'm glad that you are feeling better now, that's good news.

I am glad you are feeling better. I got no art done this week. It was busy with medical for Mom.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
Glad you are feeling much improved Nicole. I'm not a great patient as I want to be better right away and it's hard to relax for so many days, but lucky you to have such a good husband to take care of you.It is amazing how a day (in in your case many days) to relax and do what you want and get some fresh air makes a big difference. Have a wonderful next few days and hope everything just gets better and better. hugs-Erika

Dear Nicole, I'm so glad you are starting to feel better. Your "fake" birds in the past couple of weeks inspired me to draw birds too, as you will see in my post this week. Happy FFO!
ReplyDeleteMore healing energy hugs and prayers for you Nicole ~ Beautiful portraits ! Hugs ^_^
ReplyDeleteNicole, I am so happy you are starting to feel better. Lovely artwork and I love the bird! lovely colourful and beautiful. I haven't been making art for a few weeks. Hopefully my inspiration will come back to me. Have a lovely Friday and a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteThis is good news that you are feeling better. No doubt the warmth and sunshine helped as well.
ReplyDeleteI like the faces you created and also the AI. The sea turtles look wonderful, even with two heads! I hope your being well will last for a long time, Nicole.
I'm glad you are feeling better! Your art is amazing-as always. I love the turtles!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs to Mr. M for taking such good care of you. I am so sorry you have to suffer with Lupus. It is a cruel disease. But your attitude pulls you through it each time ... you are a hero in my eyes. I love your birds ... of course I love all birds so naturally I would love your birds. They are colorful and uplifting. Your faces are always wonderful. You have mastered the eyes ... a part of the face I always struggle with. I hope you are feeling better and your Lupus is in remission. Stay well, my friend ...

Great to hear you feel better, Nicole. You're in my thoughts.
ReplyDeleteYour drawing is beautiful.
Take care.
Beautiful artwork even done in the bed. :) Glad to hear you are feeling better and hopefully continue to improve.
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday, Nicole! I'm really glad to hear you are pretty much back to normal. And kudos to Mr M for taking good care of you. I can't handle a lot of time in bed. I sit at my counter or in our big chair. 😂 Love your turtles. They make me think of Turtle Canyon off Fort DeRussy Beach in Waikiki where turtles come to get cleaned by fish. I just learned about it this year. 😱 I want to snorkel there next year. Love your two faces! Enjoy your weekend, my friend! 🌺❤️🌺
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you are back to your normal. Lovely art and images.
ReplyDeleteI am happy you are feeling better. I absolutely love your sketches.
ReplyDeleteBoa tarde minha querida amiga Nicole. Fico feliz em saber, que cada dia que passa, sua saúde está melhorando. Aproveito para desejar, uma excelente sexta-feira, para você e todos os seus familiares. Grande abraço do seu amigo brasileiro.
ReplyDeleteYour "fake bird" is so beautiful. I love the pictures.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that you are feeling better. Thanks for asking about my daughter. My daughter has been back to the ER once, for the pain. They gave her a referral for pain management but they said she has to go to the office and see the doctor every 7 days in order to get another 7 days of pain pills. Crazy. She's been seeing new doctors and they're worried about her heart. Lupus is really f*cking with her right now. She's got fluid around her heart. But at least the pneumonia and sepsis has cleared up.
Relief from your symptoms is good news! I like your sea turtles. I think I’ve mentioned that we often saw them at one particular location in Hawaii where they would hang out in shallow water and completely ignore the snorkelers. They were huge. I’m probably repeating myself but the most surprising thing was a turtle that came up to me when I was standing in shallow water, and he stepped on my flipper with his flipper.
ReplyDeleteSo pleased to read that you are pretty much back to what is your normal.
ReplyDeleteWell done to Mr. M. for waiting on you hand and foot.
I enjoyed your drawings and also the Night Café art.
Take care and I wish you a happy weekend ahead.
All the best Jan
Glad to hear that you are much improved! Also glad that you have a partner who is there for you when you need it.
ReplyDeleteAll are great.
ReplyDeleteLove the sketches of parrot and the wonderful turtle AI. Thank you for featuring my street shot
ReplyDeletePleased to read you are near yourself healthwise. You have a good husband there but I guess you know that. I just love your parrot; you did very well with it. Pretties are also good too.
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful Nicole. Glad to hear you are doing well :-D
ReplyDeleteThat's nice to know your husband is so good to you. Your portrait is wonderful and your fake bird is so cheery. I just the colors! Although, I place on Monday a revamped pinup girl in my 4M post, I don't think I'll link up because I'm just not able to keep up with things. Maybe in the coming weeks, after I feel more confident with my blog repairs then I can resume the fun again. :) Have a lovely weekend. You're ever in my prayers, darlin' Nicole! xo
