Hi Everyone!
I've been trying to keep track of what have been preparing for meals.
In no particular order.
I browned, without oil some cut up seasoned chicken. It was just for me and I was just going to eat it as is. However,
With the same technique of browning and cooking meat with no oil I did a bit of round steak and made meat and veggie pasties.
My measurement for filling got a bit off but boy are they good.
Then....
with Mexican rice.
All of these recipes are kidney friendly.
By using no salt seasonings, making my own sauces, and cooking without oils.
Cook well my friends.
Nicole

ReplyDeleteThis all looks good. I haven't had a pasty in ages!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind one of those meat and veggie pastries, Nicole :-) I also like how to cook the chicken. Enjoy your meal, Nicole.
ReplyDeleteBoa noite minha querida amiga Nicole. Suas receitas parecem ser deliciosas. Difícil escolher a mais gostosa. Adoraria comer qualquer uma delas. Grande abraço do seu amigo brasileiro.
ReplyDeleteOur local bakery Zingerman’s makes great pasties (so I don’t have to)! Yours look really good, but needing to keep them within restricted diet rules means you can’t do anything else. Now you have me thinking I should put apples with the chicken I’m going to make for dinner. My previous plan was snow peas. we’ll see!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to do the apple thing. That sounds really good.
ReplyDeleteYou have a real flair for delicious looking food! Yummy
