Welcome To Friday Face OFF (FFO)
This is the place to show off your face art.
You
know, ANY type of face, nature, the face of a flower, Photography,
drawings, paintings. There just needs to be a face in your blog post.
Next week, Jan. 30 the FFO challenge will be time to show your face.
Hi Everyone!
I can't believe it's Friday already, but glad it is. Yesterday, I had to drive to Springfield to have a PET scan.
The results were in before I got home.
Some good some not so good.
However, I just don't want to think about it right now.
So let's look at art.
This is my face for this week. I gave a peek preview on SITAR a few weeks ago. She starts like this.
I started with the ear.
A few weeks ago I was going through art paper and discovered this face. I truly can't remember when I drew this or why I stopped and hid it away.
Here is some of my recent AI that I create on NightCafe.
Leeanna Not Afraid Of Color
The
new challenge is to create a portrait of anyone you want. It can be
your
family, friends, actors, faces you find on the internet, or a perfect
stranger that will allow you a photo to work from and to show with your
portrait. You can work in any medium, except photography, meaning you
can't just show a photo of a face. For this challenge you must create a
face.
In addition the challenge is optional, I still want to see all of your faces though.
Don't forget to join in for Sunday in the Art Room, "SITAR" Anything art. Please don't forget to link back to my blog. Thanks
That's it for me. Now it's time to show me your face.

Oh Nicole, she's beautiful. I know I'm repeating myself - I really like to follow your progress. Sometimes I wonder about certain decisions - for example, what made you to start with the ear? Even though I am not too much into AI, I do like some AI images. In this case, the third one. I like everything about her.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful artwork. ❤️
ReplyDeleteWell done for all.
ReplyDeleteNow you have got me wonderful how you really are feeling.
Take care.
Big, big WOW on your portrait! I hope the good news makes up for the bad and the bad can be beaten.
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday Nicole! I really love your drawing. It is wonderful. Love the shading and the proportions are perfect. Love everything about the faces you draw. You are inspirational. Have a lovely Friday and a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteI hope the whole nation rises up and makes Good trouble.
ReplyDeleteYou are such a great artist. I am in awe of anyone who can draw faces. I have a "thing" for faces. I am very good at recognizing people even if in disguise. My son is the same.
ReplyDeleteWhen I get to your FFO, I realize how the time is flying by.
ReplyDelete...Nicole, I'll stop by for "SITAR." Be warm and well.
ReplyDeleteYou can really draw a fabulous face Nicole. And you do bring them to life. I can't wait to see how the freckle face girl comes out. Sorry to read some of the results weren't so good, but glad they weren't all bad. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteOh, those piercing eyes! She looks like someone I'd love to have a deep conversation with!
ReplyDeleteI am afraid that I will not be ready for the Portrait challenge. If you read my post, you will see that I went on a lovely trip. But, I brought home a nasty cold, that I am still fighting. I don't really feel like painting just yet. But hopefully I will have time in the next week to paint and see what happens.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely portrait. Have a nice Friday, Nicole.
ReplyDeleteNicole ~ you do wonderful portrait art work ~ hugs,
ReplyDeleteHello Nicole! My blog is not allowing me to respond to comments. I came here to say thank you for your comment. I appreciate it so much. I hope I can figure it out. eek!
ReplyDeleteHi, Nicole! I've been walking around and looking at art in galleries. Your portraits are better than most I've seen displayed. You are truly talented! I will continue to keep you and Mr M in my thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you got some not so good news from the PET scans. Hopefully things are alright.
ReplyDeleteLike some others, I cannot reply to comments left on my blog right now. I loved the sketes and pictures.
You drew the freckles so beautifully. Love AI faces as well
ReplyDeleteOnce again, I admire your talent!
ReplyDeleteI'm having fun with A.I
ReplyDeleteYou never cease to amaze me. That first portrait is great, but I'm really impressed with your work on the freckles of the unfinished portrait. Blessings, my friend!
ReplyDeleteIt was a pleasure for me, finding FFO. Thank you very much for sharing and for your nice comment. A face is - by the way - for me like a landscape... Why? A face shows our emotions, most of the time.
