FFO 7/11/25

Welcome To Friday Face OFF (FFO)

This is the place to show off your faces or your face. Post any type of face from any medium. You can create it, or find it in nature, or even that face in the design of the
woodwork in your house.
Human, animal, alien, or monster.
ANY KIND OF FACE!

I've been drawing and I feel like the ease of it has come back. Well, for me. I'm no expert, that's for sure, but I like the fact that with every drawing I get a bit better at one thing or another. LOL
 She started like this.

She looks a bit freaky with no eyes.

OK, this is a bit better.

She has a reddish scar on her face.

Boy she has a straight back doesn't she. LOL

Here she is finished with color

And here in Black n White
Do you have a preference? Let me know in the comments.
I found this tucked away in a sketch book. I did some revamping to it and now here she is. Don't ask, I have no idea why I'm drawing women with scars. LOL

Here is something fun from my AI
My son and his wife along with his daughter and granddaughters drove up to NC to have 4th of July with my daughter and her husband. I so wish I could have been there. As you can see in the photos my daughters health is not good at all. What ever your prayer system is, please remember my daughter, April.

My DIL, my daughter, granddaughter and great granddaughter

DIL and oldest great granddaughter

 My daughter and granddaughter

grand daughter and youngest great granddaughter

SIL and her name is Julette they call her Ju Ju

She thinks she is all of that, too.

Eva my oldest great granddaughter and my son.
She likes to be on S.M. with her friends

She is a tween and doesn't want to be around much. So not many photos of her. This trip.

This girl is all in charge.

My daughter was trying to get her to float and she thought she was, however her booty was touching the bottom of the pool.

Now for some features.

That's it for me.
Now it's time to show me your face.
Nicole

Your portrait drawing is fabulous, Nicole. I love her expression, and the eyes are amazing. I'm having ahard time deciding which one I prefer - perhaps the one with the red scar, because the color adds a bit of "pep" to the drawing.
I can understand so much that you wish you had been on that trip as well. Thank you for sharing these beautiful family photos. You have a lovely family.
Big hugs up the coast to you - Carola

I like both the coloured and B&W version of the scar. The second scarred face reminds me of a broken china doll's head. Hopefully next time there's a family get-together, you and Mr M can be there too!

Wow, you created some strong woman. Scarred, yet or because, very strong! Her eyes are beautiful, saying, do not even think about it!
Since knife-attacks became to "popular" here I hope I won´t have to follow her example... I like the b/w-better, because it´s focused on her now, not her terrible past.
LOL, I hope to look (with glasses on) like your AI come end of November, oh, Please, please, please! (oral test).
All my very best wishes to your Daughter! At least she has a wonderful family! Really sad you could not join the fun...

Wonderful portraits Nicole!
I hope everything goes well with your daughter,
we will have her in our prayers.
It is very difficult to fight an illness, you know it well.
I like the black and white portrait,
the eyes that cover the view from the scar are so strong!

Black-and-white seems to do the job better in this case.

...having family spread out, far and wide must be difficult. Enjoy all the family times that you can. Nicole, I wish you well.

I think the scars are interesting. And yes, she has a very straight back. But even so she is gorgeous. You have a beautiful family Nicole and I hope you get to spend some time with them. Do you think they would all come out to visit you? Happy Friday. hugs-Erika

Definitely prayers for your daughter. So nice to see photos of your family. I know you wish you could have been there.
So glad to see your expressive faces again. I think I like the black and white version the best. Makes me focus on her eyes and not the scar. :)

I love seeing the happy smiles of your beautiful family. What a grand time. I'm just sorry you couldn't be there with them. Your art is beautiful -- I can't draw good faces to save my soul. You have the style and technique so well.

I like to see process photos, and family photos. What an open, lovely family you've created. Funny about the floating.
glad to hear another strong woman is developing in this country
