Friday Face OFF 6/13/25

Welcome To Friday Face OFF (FFO)

This is the place to show off your faces or your face. Post any type of face from any medium. You can create it, or find it in nature, or even that face in the design of the
woodwork in your house.
Human, animal, alien, or monster.
ANY KIND OF FACE!

My daughter sent this photo. She has been keeping her appearance out of the lime light. She is battling myeloma. My daughter is the one with the green top. I think she looks beautiful. My SIL, the one with the tank top, retired from the Marines after 25 years. It's the first time he has been able to grow his hair and a beard. The other folks are good friends.

As promised I have a real drawing this week.  Most of you know I haven't drawn since Mr. M. was in hospital last year. I sure can tell how rusty I am. Here she is though. I know, I hate drawing hair and it shows. LOL

I'm trying to find only fun, relaxing things in my life. The main reason is to keep lupus/sjogrens at bay, and I just can't take much more of the "thing" in the white house. So, I played with AI this week too. The fun thing with AI is that the strangest things can appear. Like her fingers. What the heck!

or this, she only has 3 fingers.

Or this, she has too many fingers. LOL
Anything to make me laugh.

Here are some features for this week.

Don't forget to link up with Gillena
One last thing before I go. If you are protesting this Saturday know your rights.
The First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution protects the rights to free speech, assembly, and petition the government. Talk to the organizer in your area on what to do if faced with the opposition.
Be safe out there.

That's it for me,
now it's time to show me your face.

I agree, I think your daughter is beautiful.
And so is your portrait that you drew. I wouldn't think that you don't like drawing hair.
Those fingers - too many, too few, too long - in the AI pictures are just too funny. AI certainly isn't perfect.

Maybe time for an homage to bald heads! Even some women have them these days.

Your daughter is beautiful Nicole. She and her husband make a handsome couple. I think your drawn face looks amazing. You don't look out of practice to me. And I totally understand trying to keep calm too. I think you did have some fun with the AI faces too. Have a wonderful weekend. Thanks for picking my journal page as one of your shout out too. hugs-Erika

AI art is always interesting - and often flawed. I have AI art for my post today. I need to look at it closely and see what oddities I can find.
Your "rusty" drawing skills are better than most of us can do at our best.

It is a wonderful picture of family and friends. Your SIL is a hunk and your daughter is a beauty. She should not avoid the camer.

I enjoyed seeing your family... lovely. Good for us to divert our panic by escaping into art... never thought I'd have to worry about the country like this

So nice to see an expressive face drawn by you again!!! And nice to see some of your family, too. Hands do seem to be a problem for AI--lol! I'm with you--I hope everyone is safe out there tomorrow. I wish I could join them! :)

You´ve got a beautiful daughter dear Nicole. And nice people on this pic. Nice drawing too. And these rights are written in the U.S. constitutions....but does Donald know or want to know....It´s really a shame.

I like the photo of your family. Your daughter looks fabulous! I like your sketch. You do such good work. Your people look realistic. That's something I struggle with. I plan to put up a couple of illustrations this Friday. Thanks for visiting. Have a boogietastic week, Nicole! xo
