A little part of Oregon

 Hi Everyone!
Last week when we made our monthly trek to Salem. I took a few photos. Ya, know in a moving car. LOL
This is the route we have to take once we are in Salem.

click on the photos to see closer.
I didn't get any photos of my town, these start at about 23-25 miles up Hwy 126.
Oh, as you can tell it was an overcast day. Shocker 😋

You have to go through a tunnel.

I love the view coming out on the other side.

Then out to a very green trees and bush.

We have had so much rain that everything is lush.

Around this corner we come to the town of Walton

Walton, pop. 360. that is the people in the zip code.

Soon we turn off of 126 to Poodle Creek road.

It is mostly farm land here.

I really like these round bales.

It's a mixture of farms to the lush.

This photo is for Tom from
The only barn I found. Big business.

We had to make a stop and I couldn't pass up this beauty.

From lush to dry just like that.

Here is a little part of Jct City.

Now we are on I-5 going north. Here is a working quarry.

And then my batteries died. I don't use this camera very often and so that's it for the trip photos. LOL
I couldn't believe I didn't check the batteries before we left.
Hope you enjoyed the drive.

This is a good way to showcase your journey being so original

I am glad that the word ICE on the truck is not referring to the thugs rounding up innocent children and terrorizing them.

...dead batteries are a bummer! Thanks for taking me along on the trip.

Just looking at the photos, that could easily be Alabama. I am not sure we have any tunnels like that in Alabama, but there are areas I haven’t been to yet.

It was like I was there in the car with you!

Hi Nicole,
Your photos show that you drove through a beautiful countryside. That's a typical summer landscape, as farmers have already harvested.

I enjoyed your street view.

It's looks like a not so terrible drive except for all the traffic and the highway. Hope it was a good trip overall (after your batteries died). Happy July. hugs-Erika

I call my car shots drive by shootings -- even did a little shutterfly book of them eons ago. I love seeing places I've never been to! Thanks for sharing them . It looks like a great ride and I hope all went well.
