I hope all of you had a good week. I had 3 1/2 days of gorgeous weather. I was able to get more of my garden set up and many vegetables planted. Then, up came the wind and rain. We will have heavy rain for the next 9 days. Starting at 5PM we will have 35 to 45 MPH sustained winds and 60 MPH gusts. Ohhh, I'm so flippen thrilled. I have battened down the garden and hope it will still be standing when this wind is over.
A few weeks ago I had a dentist appt. Before the appt. I was informed that my dental insurance had been canceled. WHAT??? So now I have to pay out of pocket. Well, credit card.
I think I have mentioned before that lupus and especially sjogrens is very hard on teeth.
With that here is what I found for FFO.

That’s terrible about your dental insurance, especially in case you need something major. A few years ago I had a big extraction, not covered by insurance (we knowingly have a limited policy), but the price I paid was very reduced because they charged me the amount that was negotiated with the insurance company, not “retail.” So I hope you can get things in order and good luck with the work! Those big companies know how to deal.

The dental insurance was just cancelled out of the blue - no reason given? That sucks. Insurance companies can do whatever they want it seems. Those washing machines are seriously cool - and I'm not surprised that you would love them in your house.

...we have never add dental insurance until it was introduced to out Medicare. Who knows what will happen with this because of King Trumpy Dumpy and President Muskrat? Put some rocks in your pockets so that you don't blow away!
Was there some reason why your insurance was cancelled or was it completely arbitrary? It seems grossly unfair to me.

That's terrible about your dental insurance being cancelled. Dentists are so expensive. It's crazy they aren't covered under health insurance since your teeth play such a big part of your health. Sorry to hear about losing your dental insurance. Over here when you reach 66 you qualify for a free medical card. Sometimes you have to wait for an appointment but if you have private insurance the wait is shorter but not always. The medical card covers eyes too. You're allowed a free exam every 2 years.
