FFO Not How I Envisioned It

Welcome To Friday Face OFF (FFO)

This is the place to show off your faces or your face. Post any type of face from any medium. You can create it, or find it in nature, or even that face in the design of the
woodwork in your house.
Human, animal, alien, or monster.
ANY KIND OF FACE!

It feels like this has been a slow week. Maybe because it's been so darn cold. We are actually in a freeze alert. Snow, freezing temps, yeah tell me there is no climate change.
OK, enough of that.
I finished the dead skull. Well as far as I am willing to go on her. I am not as happy with this one as some of my others. However, when this happens, it is the first one to sell. LOL
Dead eyes and old dead crusty teeth.
 Dead eyes.

I love the bloody dead skin. Although I don't know if dead skin can be bloody. LOL

More dead skin and a tumor.

These teeth are crusty, and I love the lips.

I absolutely love the next two pieces of art. I found them on Pinterest and couldn't find the artist but their name is on the bottom of the first one.

I would love to have this. It's made of wood but looks like bone.

I find this guy to be powerful and a dead worrier.  I just can't help myself. LOL

Now for some features.

Don't forget to link up with Gillena.

That's it for today, now it's time to show me your face.
Nicole

  4. Even though I'm not much of a skull person, I think you did well with this one even if you're not totally happy with it. The teeth are very cool! Isn't Pinterest a great place to find some interesting art etc? I often go there just looking for inspiration - and for knitting patterns.
Nicole, have a good weekend! - Carola

  5. I think you would laugh about our "cold" but, really, I´m having enough of this weather! The snow was so hard yesterday night it sounded like... it was loud!
Well... I think I would not want to kiss her ;-) She really looks... huhhhh!
Your last one reminds me of Supernatural´s Scarecrow! A really creepy episode! Have a creepy Friday (in a good way!).

  9. Dear Nicole, what don't you like about your head? I don't think it's bad. But I think I have an idea what you mean - something is "missing"... If you ask me what I would do differently, it would be the eyes. They are a bit toooo "dead" - they should look like the eyes of your powerful dead worrier, I think then the face would have more charisma.
I'm glad you had a rather quiet week - that sounds relaxing and I think that can't do any harm!
    All the best, Traude

  12. That is SO true! Something you don't much like -- but others gravitate toward it! I'm enjoying this one -- admittedly creepy, but kind of cool!

  14. You are absolutely right about how the art piece you usually don't like is the one that sells first. :) I've had that happen to me when I did a few craft fairs. And those mosquito art pieces are pretty cool. Have a great FRiday-Valentine's Day, and weekend ahead Nicole. hugs-Erika
