Welcome To Friday Face OFF (FFO)
This
is the place to show off your faces or your face. Post any type of face
from any medium. You can create it, or find it in nature, or even that
face in the design of the
woodwork in your house.
Human, animal, alien,
or monster.
ANY KIND OF FACE!
Before I get into FFO I want to remind you of the blog posts I wrote years ago on Aquafaba. It is an egg replacement. Aquafaba is the juice from chick peas/garbanzo beans. You can us canned or make your own with dried beans. I watched a fabulous video on how to maximize the aquafaba.
This video tells you how to do it.
3 tablespoons un-whipped = 1 egg.
2 tablespoons un-whipped = 1 egg white.
Whipped aquafaba can be used in baking, to make mayo, meringue, ice cream, chocolate mousse and a host of other goodies. Look it up on google.
Aquafaba will last 5 days in your fridge.
To make it last longer you can freeze it.
Now for FFO
Lots of traveling this week so getting in the art room wasn't possible. I do have some AI art to share with you.
I need this in my kitchen.
Let's see some features.
Nicole

Magical and mystical AI artwork ~ hope all is well with you ~ hugs,
ReplyDeleteWishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

aka (A Creative Harbor)
Nice AI pieces.
ReplyDeleteI like these AI images, Nicole, they're beautiful. Everything with trees speaks to me. I hope you have a lovely weekend! Hugs - Carola
ReplyDeleteI remember your aquafaba blog posts! Thanks for updating them!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the aquafaba reminder. I have some in the freezer but hadn't got around to using it.
ReplyDeleteThe Trees with Faces are quite intriguing.
ReplyDeleteI tried using aquafaba once but I never could get it to beat up into a meringue.
Interesting AI works
ReplyDeleteI am glad eggs are still normal-price here, just got twelve yesterday.
ReplyDeleteLove the AI-art! To time to make art yourself again!
Thank you Nicole for the challenge and have a wonderful weekend ahead 🥰
ReplyDeleteThe tree faces are my favourite
ReplyDeletemuch🤍love
Very beautiful pictures of living nature!!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day Nicole!
I'll get back to you a little later! 😊
ReplyDeleteI always love the whacky unique faces you created
ReplyDeleteFascinating, dear Nicole, what you can do with aquafaba! I've never heard of it.
ReplyDeleteYour AI "tree nymphs" are wonderful! The enormous roots remind me of trees that we saw in the rainforest of Costa Rica - you could really see all sorts of things (including long, flowing hair) in them... And the heads that are higher up on the tree trunks remind me of the Thai Buddha that we photographed in Ayutthaya: The head of the Buddha statue is "encircled" by the roots of a banyan tree... look here (in the 5th collage): https://rostrose.blogspot.com/2018/07/thailand-reisebericht-teil-4-ayutthaya.html
All the best, Traude

It’s amazing to me just how often you can find a face on a real tree. You just have to look.
ReplyDeleteThose tree ladies are magnificent! Have a great weekend, hugs!
ReplyDeleteThose trees are amazing. And I remember your aquafaba posts too. But it's a great time to repost them. Have a super weekend. hugs-Erika
ReplyDelete...I just had my two eggs over easy. At $4.45/doz, I can still treat myself.
ReplyDeleteAlways astonishing what AI can do....but, as I told you, I don´t like AI though it looks very good....I prefer the own creativity. Have a good time and all the best
ReplyDeleteVioletta
There are loads of fun faces here! Thanks for including me in your features, too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the aquafaba reminder, Nicole. I haven't bought eggs in about six weeks. We chose not to eat them at home in Waikiki, but I'll probably cave once we're home in Aurora. Your AI images are fascinating. I hope you get to slow down this week.
ReplyDeleteInteresting AI pieces and the skull hanger is great.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a busy week.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a restful weekend. :)
I quite like the AI images.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Normally tree faces would seem creepy, but these look peaceful. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteBoa tarde de Domingo e bom início de semana minha querida amiga Nicole. Aqui no Brasil, are o preço do ovo, esta muito caro. Quase o dobro. Grande abraço carioca.
ReplyDeleteAquafaba was new thing for me yet interesting to learn 👌☺️
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing my friend ♥️
