ANY KIND OF FACE!
Hi, I'm writing this post on Wednesday. Why, you ask? Before I answer let me tell you about the turkey first.
I don't know when turkeys became so darn expensive and I can never find a small one. So, Mr. M. and I were just not going to have turkey dinner. Fred Meyers and Safeway give a free turkey with $100.00 purchase of food.
That is a ripoff!!!
My neighbor told me that at Grocery Outlet gave turkeys as low as $35.00 store purchase. The more money you spend the less the price to free. I got a few things there and was offered a 15lb turkey for $3.99. Now that is a big turkey for us but I couldn't pass it up. Soooo yes, I'm cooking tomorrow, hence the early write up.
If you are cooking for tomorrow what are you preparing? I really would like to know, just write it in the comments.
Now for FFO
Yeahhhhh no time this week. So AI will have to suffice.
When writing my description I wanted to show bounty for Thanksgiving.
Wishing all of you the very best
each and every day
Now for some features.

In Germany Thanksgiving is "celebrated" in church only (I think?), other it is no big deal, and really, you cannot buy a turkey here. I only know this from movies...
Hope you had a great, yummy time and today many yummy leftovers!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving all over the year Nicole 💖
Enjoy a weekend 💟
We don´t celebrate Thanksgiving here ...so no turkeys to cook and eat :-). Sounds rather expencive. Hope you had a fine day though.
Have a good time

These faces are ultramodern and sleek
I like the AI pieces! And they seem to fit the holiday. I just love your turkey story -- well done! Rick had to deliver his mom to his brother yesterday so I was home alone (and that was fine -- I got a lot done with no interruptions!). The favorite part of any big-day dinner for me is the appetizers so instead of eating the pulled pork I had, I enjoyed spanikopita and shrimp cocktail! Probably not nutritious, but so much more fun that a whole table of food!
Thanksgiving was in October here so we didn’t cook anything special yesterday. I recently attended a meeting led by an indigenous elder from the Six Nations Reserve and he began the meeting with their traditional thanksgiving prayer, as they do every gathering, big or small. The creator is thanked for the soil, the air, the trees, the animals…and so on. It strikes me that this should be used instead of jingoistic national anthems. The world might have a chance to be a better place. That would really be something to give thanks for.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and Mr M!
We had dinner yesterday. I bought precooked BBQ pork from a local restaurant. I cooked baked beans, made coleslaw and baked a sugar-free, grain-free cake. Everything was delicious.
I know exactly what you mean about turkey prices. OUCH! I wanted a small fresh turkey because I wouldn't have time to thaw it, and just like the frozen ones, it was pricey. But it was a delicious bird so that makes up for it, I guess. Grin. I hope you had a lovely holiday and have a great weekend ahead. hugs-Erika
Our family had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration. Sadly Covid struck my son-in-law so my daughter and he could not come this year.
...we bought a 22 lb turkey for 48 cents a pound after buying $25 of groceries!
Morning, well we butchered our “annual” ham (yes one giant ham lasts us almost a year) and took the tiny pieces that just aren’t pretty and the bone and some Royal Corona beans from Rancho Gordo Bean Club and had a great pot o’ beans. Very happy us! Hope you had a good day also, miss you.
That image is really nice. I am afraid we will not be able to spot the difference between AI-created images and hand-made images in the near future.
Have a nice weekend!
A good reminder not to squander but celebrate all the bounty nature
provides. :)
I hope your turkey was delicious and you have yummy turkey leftovers. :)
Oh do hope you and hubby enjoyed the 'turkey' and are relaxing now ~ thanks for featuring my blog post ~ hugs,

I do have a lot to be thankful for. We don't celebrate Thanksgiving here in the UK so no turkey to cook, not keen on it that much anyway. [But I do have a painting of one] Enjoy your celebrations.
I like the AI pieces you've shared here.
My good wishes.
All the best Jan
Hi, Nicole! I hope that your turkey turned out well. You sound tickety-boo, which is lovely. I hope Mr. M. continues to improve. Your AI images were very cool. We flew to Vegas today, so we didn't have a big meal yesterday, just pork chops, scalloped potatoes, blueberry/spring greens salad, and some lemon bars. Everything is expensive at the stores these days, but I did find the pork chops in the reduced meat section. Enjoy your weekend!
I can see the A.I face you posted. As street art.
Boa tarde e muita paz e saúde. Aproveito para desejar um excelente mês de Dezembro e bom início de semana, minha querida amiga Nicole.
