Hi Everyone!
Welcome to Weird Art Wednesday. This is where I introduce you to artists that have chosen to create their way.
Here is one of my weird art sculptures. Most of you have seen this before.
When I was about 9 years old my Nan introduced me to Salvador Dali. He has been one of my favorite artists ever since.
Salvador Domingo Felipe Jacinto Dalí i Domènech, Marquess of Dalí of Púbol (11 May 1904 – 23 January 1989), known as Salvador Dalí
In the meantime here is a bit of his art.
That's
it for now. I hope you enjoyed the art.
Have a weird and wonderful day.
Nicole

...weird is a good description for Salvador Dalí.
ReplyDeleteThat´s really great after such a weird day :-)
ReplyDeleteThe horns are wonderful, and Dali is the perfect example of "weird".
ReplyDeleteFun pieces
ReplyDeleteSalvador Dali's art is fabulous, andx I do like some weird art, but not all of it! It needxs to be my sort of weird! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteHope you are doing better!
Boa tarde e uma excelente quarta-feira. Trabalho muito criativo, parabéns.
ReplyDeleteI am most mesmerised by the weird arts. So unique and special!
ReplyDeleteHi, Nicole! Your sculptures are amazing and creepy! The art in my house would seem very tame to you ~ lol! I love Salvador Dali's art. He makes me see things in new ways. Happy New Year. Take care!
ReplyDeleteGreat 'weird art' ~ Dali is always fun to me ~

I am not the least bit surprised that you love Salvador Dali's work--LOL! Now we know from whence your inspiration comes. ;)
ReplyDeleteDali was certainly an interesting artist. I enjoy seeing his art, especially learning the back stories. Nice art from you this week too. I love the horn and growths from his head. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteWeird art sings right into my heart. I love the story weird pieces tell, and what they say about the way the minds who create it work.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
these are really weird things - as is Salvador Dali - I love his paintings and installations. Have a good time and year and all the best for your health.
ReplyDeleteVioletta
...and thanks for your nice visits to my blog
No one will question that “weird” is the operative word!
ReplyDeleteDali is one of my favorites also. A friend has his "Last Supper" framed and I enjoy seeing the way he painted it, although it is not his normal "weird."
ReplyDeleteBom dia e uma excelente quinta-feira, minhaqueridaamiga Nicole.
ReplyDeleteI've always been intrigued by Dali's work too. Apparently there is a recent (2022) biopic movie about his life (or at least his unconventional relationship with his wife in the 1970s) called "Daliland" starrying Ben Kingsley. I haven't seen it but it sounds intriguing.
ReplyDeleteI can only say you are brilliant with your work.
ReplyDeleteI really like surrealism period.
ReplyDeleteI like your weird horns and Dali's art.
ReplyDeleteDali is a great example of 'weird' art.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
