FFO 1/5/24

Welcome To Friday Face OFF (FFO)

This is the place to show off your faces or your face. Post any type of face from any medium. You can create it, or find it in nature, or even that face in the design of woodwork in your house. Human, animal, alien, or monster. Any kind of face.

Before I get into faces. I want to show you how much the wound on my foot has come. I saw the Foot Doc. on Tuesday. He was pretty impressed with my wound healing and even wrote it up in his medical after report.

Remember it looked like this. Very deep.

Today it looks like this. All that beautiful pink healthy skin. The whitish is collagen and it will turn into pink skin as well. I think I 3 or 4 days. I am allowed to walk in good support tennis shoes and start toe crunches with a towel and spread my toes. I can't tell you how good it feels even though my foot is still quite numb.

I even went into the art room and played with some clay. I started this little guy. It's one of the can faces that hold paint brushes. I got this done yesterday.

and this done today.
Needs some eyes and maybe some cheeks. Then paint.

These guys have been sitting on my art table since before my surgery. I need to finish them up.

 What's on your art table?
I would love to know.
This week the feature is from Christine

I'm also linking with Gillena

This has been a much better first week for 2024. Claim it and it's yours too.
That's it for tonight. I can't wait for you to show me your face.

Oh Nicole I am so glad to see the improvement on your leg! Nice work and thanks for featuring me!

I hope the doctor actually probe the wound if it was deeper than a finger breath. That would usually require MRI of the foot to exclude osteomyelitis.
The face mask is always fascinating to see on your blog.

Yippeeeyayeih for the progress on the wound!!!
And WOW on those skulls especially.
Art table, you made me laugh.
Our condo isn´t very big, I have either my private PC-table or the balcony table.
Atm a piece of paper is on it, waiting.
I took pics for you. To a happy healing day!

glad your foot is healing well. But, still be careful. If your side of the world looks like mine it is white and slippery.
Take care!
