FFO 1/26/24

Welcome To Friday Face OFF (FFO)

This is the place to show off your faces or your face. Post any type of face from any medium. You can create it, or find it in nature, or even that face in the design of woodwork in your house. Human, animal, alien, or monster. Any kind of face.

It's all about AI art this week.
So much going on and then the weather and power outage.
So here it is.

These are AI under surprise me. How lucky that it came up faces?

OK, lets see some AI men. I tried to change the features but AI wouldn't let me. I really don't like these faces. But it is what it is.

 That's it for me.
Here is this weeks feature.

I will be linking with Gillena
Now it your turn to show me your face.

While your AI creations are pretty awesome, I still prefer "real" handmade artwork. Your face drawings, for example, have so much more life, expression and uniqueness. These AI images are flawless and that's what I don't like about them. Even the old woman has almost no wrinkles.
Have a great weekend, Nicole, and I hope your foot continues to heal. Hugs - Carola

AI sure is impressing. No wonder some people fear it!
Till Wednesday I felt like woman #2, but now all is fine! Hope the same goes for you and you have a great day!

AI faces always look a bit weird or surreal. Interesting. Not what I would have expected for surprise me--LOL! :)

These screaming and yelling faces are cathartic to look at

Hi, Nicole
My owl is thanking you for the honor he got from you ;)
Sorry to say, but I don't look upon the 'artificial intelligence' as art, although I myself do digital and hybrid works. This because I use my own intelligence and creativity with some digital or hand made elements.
Any way, the images you present look great of course.
Happy PPF xx

Sometimes getting AI to do what you want is a challenge. It certainly is helping me to use more precise descriptive language.
I think you did well.

I hope you didn't lose power for too long Nicole. And it is really amazing what AI can do, isn't it? It seems to be taking the world by storm. I can see why people worry about it though and how it could interfere with people making their own art. I like it though, and I loved the hair flying up in the air faces. Have a super weekend. hugs-Erika

Dear Nicole, like many others, I am torn about AI. I think, as is often the case with innovations (think of the first steam trains), people are afraid of them. Sometimes rightly so, because whatever we do as humans can be used in a positive or negative way. It's the same on the Internet - there's been more fraud and fake news since then, but there are also blog friendships, ways to get information and much more. The way you use the AI is definitely creative and interesting. I'm curious as to why you don't like these men?
All the best & hugs, Traude

PS: I've been reading a lot about power outages in the blogger world lately...

The AI faces exhibit a kind of sameness -- too smooth, too ordinary. I'm sure the programmers will improve the software, though. I enjoy seeing what you are doing with AI.

Hi, Nicole! I hope that your week has gone well. The first image is gorgeous! Oh to have skin like that! I agree that archers' faces aren't as likable. Thevariety in the faces of the scary women is really interesting. Have a lovely weekend!

Bom sábado e bom final de semana Nicole. A IA faz a diferença, o ser humano usa a criatividade e inspiração.

AIs are dynamic and also capable of learning a range of visual representations of faces.

My dear Nicole, I love your art. Can you PLEASE tell me What is AI? Adobe Illustrator, Artificial Intelligence, or what? Please let me know. Hugs, my friend.
