Friday Face OFF SO SORRY

 Hi Everyone!

I'm so sorry that there will be no FFO today. My foot surgery has gone sideways and I can only be up for a few minutes a day. The surgery itself was a success, however, the doctor and I believe that lupus has attracted the foot and new bone marrow. My foot is so full of water, (edema) that I can't move my toes or flex it. I have surgery blisters, and my foot looks pretty bad. The doctor has changed my antibiotics and put me on steroids. Thank the gods for steroids.
This just seems typical for all that I have been through this year. Please, pray, spell, wish, and send healing energy to me.
The photos are pretty gross.

P.S. My most wonderful landlord brought over a wheelchair and a walker. I feel blessed for that.
If nothing else goes wrong I will see you next week.
Nicole

  5. So sorry to hear about your foot. The leg is so swollen looking like inflammatory oedema. Surgery triggered a flare of lupus most likely. Please rest well and be positive.
