T Stands for bad hip

 Hi Everyone!

Sorry for this post. The yard sale went very well but because I was on my feet for 6 hours, not to mention, lifting, and setting up. I really messed my hip up. I only did the yard sale 1 day. I have been babying my hip trying to stay out of the ortho for hip replacement. I f@#$#$%% hate getting old! I haven't mentioned it before but I'm looking at hip and foot surgery. Hopefully not at the same time. Siggghhhh....

So linking up with Bleubeard and Elizabeth to say, I hope everyone is well.

See you Friday for FFO

Sorry to hear about your hip Nicole. I hope you can get it taken care of or at least get a lot of improvement. And those witch coffee memes are great. It's getting to be that time of year, isn't it? Have a lovely T day. hugs-Erika

Sorry to hear about your bad hip. I hope your yard sale was successful even if only one day instead of two.

The witch photos look peculiar. Sorry about your hips after a hard day of garage sale.

Argh, I am with you.
I hope you get help with your hip and feet soon.
My toes are numb, I think I need help also.
Be fit for the show, I have fingers (and toes) crossed for that!

Oh no! So sorry about your hip! I hope it was just a flare up and will settle down again so you can avoid surgery for a while more. Fingers crossed!

It's nice to know the yard sale went well, but sad to read you hurt your hip in the process. I really hope resting it will help keep you from under the knife.

Had to laugh at the Witchy coffee memes. They certainly are a sign of the times. Thanks for sharing these with us for T this Tuesday, dear Nicole. Now it's time for you to rest, dear.

Hi Nicole, glad the yard sale went well and you got rid of stuff, it is exhausting though. Sorry to hear about your hip but I do know someone who had it done and she is like a new woman! Happy T Day! Elle xx

Sorry about your hip. We are really in the replacement age and have to learn to love our spare parts. Look after yourself, hugs, Valerie

Sorry to hear of your ailments and the possibility of future surgery - but at least the sale went well!

That is exactly how I felt when I had my sale. I hope you did well and that at least some of the hurt is worth it! The surgery is a big decision -- both of them. I know you'll do the right thing for you.

Oh dear, dear Nicole, that doesn't sound good. In the German-speaking world they say: "Growing old is not for cowards" - do you say that in English, too? I hope you can get better without surgery - I have avoided several surgeries so far (both shoulders and one elbow) through physiotherapy and targeted (daily) gymnastics: Maybe you can find a gymnastics that works well for your hips and feet online and do it every day? I'm sure it will work!
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that things get better. And I wish you a (positively) enchanted T-Day
All the best, Traude

I agree. Getting old stinks. I had hip issues this week and after a visit to my chiropractor the pain is finally gone! Glad to hear that your sale went well.
Happy Tea Day and feel better,
Kate

Prayers your hip feels better
Replacement parts use to be garage talk. Now, knees and hips are the replacement body parts.

I'm sorry to hear about your hip :( I know several folks who've had hip surgery that has all gone well. I don't know anyone who has had foot surgery, but that sounds trickier... I'll be glad to hear all has gone well with noth.
