FFO 5\26\23 What a week

 Hi Everyone!

Well it has been a week. Everyday this week I had to drive out of town to see some sort of medical person. The one I was most happy with was a second Ultrasound on my thyroid. Without going into too much detail the one take here in my town was horrible both in scan and report. I drove to Eugene to Oregon Imaging. What a difference. O.I. has better equipment and staff. The Tech explained things to me and was so gentle. The one I had here the guy actually hurt me. The report came in and OMG! My thyroid is in a bit of trouble. Because my PC has no idea how to read a scan, I do have an appt with my spine doctor who will go over everything with me. However there are 3 lesions that rate at a Ti-Rad number of 5. That means it is moderately suspicious. I will have to find a doctor to do a needle biopsy. Also in one month the lesions in suspect have grown.  Today, I had a dentist appt. Geesss it seems like that is all I do.

I did manage to get a new can face done and a fast sketch.

And the sketch. I was a 30 minute warm up. Didn't quite finish.

I will finish this when I can.

Now for the featured artist.
This week we have,

I will also be linking up with Gillena,

Now it time to show me your face.
Have a great day everyone!

T Stands for ......

 Hi Everyone!

I'm going to try to get back to blogging as much as I can. Today is the T-Party over at Bleubeard and Elizabeth's
I'm still getting ready for my show in Sept. no matter what is going on with my health. I have 2 friends that will be joining me this year and I am all up for it to be loads of fun. Of course, and making money. LOL
The weather has been cold and windy. We are not even getting up to 60°F during the day. Keeping my gardens covered in poly is helping, except for my sweet potatoes. I don't think they will make it. I do have some flowers to show you though.
These are some hardy plants.

This came up from last year.

This is a new one for me.

 I love Marigolds.

This is new too, but as I write this I can't remember the names.

 Orange Marigold

I love these Alyssums. I have planted them in several places.

I have always wanted these creeping ground flowers. A lot of people grow them here.

 These just make me happy.

Can this be any more yellow?

No flowers yet but these are Sunflowers.

Now for my drink. Since my throat has been on fire from my thyroid, all I want is ice cold drinks and popsicles. So here is my favorite smoothie. 3 kinds of berries with sparkling water. It is so good.

Have a great day!

Friday Face OFF 5/19 and a cool surprise

 Hi Everyone!

It has been a month. Hardly any time to create and the fact that I am sleeping up to 14 hours a day. Uhhhgggg....

However, I did get another face can made for my paint brushes and another started. I took a face that I already had made and simply love and added it to the can.
This is the face

And now she lives here.
I really do like how these are turning out, and so functional too. LOL
My Son, Troy, emailed me the other day to show me his AI art. OMGosh.... I'm in, in fact I'm hooked. There are several sites one can create these with but after speaking to my grandson, who works at google, this is the site we have chosen. AI Art
All art is yours and copyrighted.  All you do is write a description of what you want and the AI creates 4 images for you. Of course my first was this. There are 3 others but I liked this one best.
I played with quite a few descriptions, here is another one all 4.

The more specific you are the better image you get. I love her face.

and here is another style.
Seriously it is so much fun. For this site you do have to have a Bing account but that is easy. I hope you give this AI art a try.

Now for our featured artist.

I'm also linking up with Gillena
Now it's your turn to show me your face. Make a blog post, link back to this post, link up with MR. Linky below, and leave comments.
Can't wait to see what all of you have to share this week.

TADD 5/18

 Hi Everyone!

I'm joining TADD with Rain this week. I have been saving photos to share so I'm not sure where this post will go. LOL

As some of you know gardening this year has been somewhat of a friggen mess. Our weather is all mixed up. Freezing and snow in March and April and now our day time highs are only in the mid 60s F. and the very low 40s F at night. Most of all of my seedlings died so my garden is very different this year.

There is more growing in this now.

 I do have peas.

 Buckets of plants.

 Potatoes coming up.

These are herbs growing nicely now.

I have a tomato plant this year.

I put permanent sides on my hoop garden.

Onions, cabbage and carrots in these.

I have to have my dill.

This hosta, even though it lives in the sun, it comes back every year.

I've had this Rosemary a few years now.

I have my tomato plant cage wrapped in saran wrap. It keeps the heat in.

Mr. M. built this for me this year.

Wanna know what the pipes are in my buckets. I have to tell you it works.

Make sure there is good drainage.

Put a bit of soil down. In a clean jug put a Piece of PVC pipe into the hole. I cut the end at an angle first.

Fill the jug with water about 2/3 of the way. The drill or poke holes in the top of the just. I get about 50 holes.

Start filling the bucket with soil.

 Fill it with soil.

 Then soak the soil .

 Let is set.

Fill the bucket with soil about an inch from the top. Wet the soil and plant seeds or starters.

What happens is the roots of the plant finds their way into the holes of the jug. Watering is less and the plants really do better. I put fresh water into the pipe about every week or so.

Here are the buckets as of tonight.

I got so many happy wishes for my birthday and I want to thank all of you for that. This is what my dear Mr. M. got for me. I asked him for new bits.

and he added this. It's 12 volts where my other drill is only 8 volts and I have to keep it plugged in all the time or the battery goes dead. Oh my new drill has two batteries. I am a happy girl.

Now for food.

 Pizza of course.

 Bread made of pizza dough.

Cinnamon rolls made from pizza dough. They don't look pretty

but OMG soooo good

Well I think this is long enough and I need to lay down for a bit.

Have a great Thursday.
